Showed up on time.  Very personable and polite.  Worked diligently.  Cleaned up when done.

Job looks great,  Paid attention to detail, and I am very satisfied w/ the end product.  Price was fair / reasonable.

When I had an electrical outage, the power company said I had corrosion in the meter box and would have to have it replaced. I called three other companies before I finally got a hold of Tim Ackert. He came out the next day, explained what would be done, and then sent me a quote. He also explained additional work he could do to make sure the initial problem wouldn't reoccur. Since I was under risk of the problem reoccurring, he squeezed me into his schedule 3 days later.
The electrician showed up on time, having gotten a building permit from the town, did the required work, and even finished early. Warned that we would be without power most the day, we were surprised when we were only out for 2.5 hours. The work looks great and should solve the problem permanently.
The only surprise is that I have to contact the building inspector to have the work approved.

I had done a lot of research on transfer switches and wanted a certain setup to accommodate the needs in my house. Tim Ackert came out himself, listened to what I wanted, and discussed the pros, cons, and limitations of the switch. He then sent over an estimate, which I accepted, and I scheduled an installation. The crew of two was on-time, courteous, and did not make a mess. The work was performed cleanly and they were clearly pros.
