They were awesome. I also used them for my mother. John Adam's is the guy I was in contact with. They are fantastic. They are very careful with furniture. Everything was on time. There was no damage. They were terrific all the way around.

They sent two 12 year olds to help pack furnishings in house.   When they showed up to move our goods, they added another $1,500 charge to cover shuttle service that should have been in the original estimate as it was not in the estimate of any other mover.  They were already more expensive than other movers before the additional 1,500.   Of course, at that point I could not change movers which they know.   They then broke antique furniture due to negligence in packing which had been moved by two prior movers without any problem.   They destroyed a 2,500 appliance due to negligent packing.   They surprised us with additional charges on Friday at 430pm for pakcing boxes that they did not pack and gave us no recourse to fixing.   They required that we pay them on Sunday to receive goods on the move in date and provided no recourse to dispute bill prior to payment.  

Poor packers, poor service....the person that actually moved us into house was adequate but not at the level of three prior movers.

The representative who came out to measure the job was very detailed and took a long time to survey the house and all its contents. We were provided with a detailed quote around 14 days later. The quote itemized everythign they were going to pack and move as well as what services were and were not included in the total price. The representative made himself available to discuss the details with me on several occassions. Once we agreed on the final details we scheduled the move. The packing crew and movers were all couteous, professional and on time each day. Despite the hard rain and snow on move days the movers were neat and took every precaution to keep our belongings dry and our home clean and neat. They were dressed professional and conducted themselves with the uptomst professionalism. The move was completed ontime, with no damage despite the tough weather conditions. The crew worked constantly until we were completely satisfied with the location and condition of everything. There is nothing more we could have asked from these movers. Although moving can be very stressful, this company helped to make it all go as well as it could have. I would recommend them to anyone.
