I brought the car in for my wife since I work close by. We got a call around 9:00, with an estimate of over $1,000.00 for work to be performed. they said the exhaust would cost $459, and they had to special order the part so we would have to leave the car overnight. I asked why so much, and was told the part was $150 and there was 3 hours labor involved. We decided not to go with them for the exhaust leak because of the price and the time. When I told them we decided not to do the exhaust because of the price, they didn't seem too happy. Later in the day I made an appointment for her car at Mienikie in Colchester for a couple of days later. The day after getting the car back from toyota of colchester, the oil light came on. I checked it, and it was way overfilled. My wife took the car to the meinkie shop the next day, and they drained the excess oil out for her, no charge. They aslo fixed the exhaust for less than $200, in 1 hour, and didn't have to order any parts. It turns out this is a common problem with Toyota Camrys.
Both my wife and I have bought cars from Toyota of Colchester, but will never do so again.

They do a great job. I had one problem with the battery and they couldn’t duplicate the problem after I brought it to them four times. Now the car is out of warranty and I think I will have to pay for a new battery. They have been very good and they service the car well. They are friendly.

The service is excellent! They follow up and really seem to care about the satisfaction of their customers.
