Chet's Electric LLC

We are so thankful for Chet’s Electric. They were all very skilled and professional. They were able to diagnose a complicated problem and repair it very quickly. They even cleaned my two-story 28-bulb crystal chandelier that was above a marble floor, with the utmost care. No one wanted to do this. We cannot recommend them enough. We have referred them to our realtor as well.

Chet was very punctual on the initial visit to provide an estimate.  We arranged a date to do the work and he arrived as scheduled.  The work he did to put an electrical outlet on the wall behind the tv was excellent and now no cords can be seen.  His work on the entertainment system included putting in a universal remote was pretty good but, I needed some training and needed to add in the surround sound.  Although I called Chet a couple of time to complete the work, he never did get back to me.  He never did charge me more beyond the deposit, so I dropped the pursuit of it. 
My analysis is that Chet is great on doing electrical work and completed the job to satisfaction.  For the entertainment system for programming a remote and getting the surround sound to work, may have been outside Chet's expertise.

I was looking for someone to install a whole house LP generator & couldn't believe the prices I was getting, they were all over the place, some were $3000 different!  Some included digging others didn't, same with permits.  I ended up having over a dozen companies giving me quotes, what a pain!  Chet's Electric was the most reasonable for the 20kw generator, whole house auto 200 amp switch, 5' of digging and permits.  He did say there was a month wait to get a generator as everyone is now putting them in after not having power in CT for over a week!  He was right on with the delivery time, on time when he said he would be there, and did a neat job with the wiring, digging and the set up of the generator. He even had his guys neaten up the TV cable wires & mount them on the plywood next to the new transfer switch, instead of hanging from the floor joists above(Comcast installers). He made sure everything was running, testing it several times. He took care of everything but the LP gas, which I ended going with JJ Sullivan because they have a neat radio transmitter system that tells them when the LP tanks are low...really cool! No trekking thru snow to ck the gas level!
