Total Tree Care provided us with spraying and deep feeding services for a number of our trees, particularly several large birch trees.  They performed the services that they had recommended and on time.  It is difficult to know the competition's prices, but their services seemed quite expensive.  They also forgot to inform us that our trees needed service again until well after it should have been done.  On another occasion, they notified us that during the winter months they did roof shoveling.  After a particularly heavy snow accumulation, we hired  them to have our roof shoveled.  The price was several hundred dollars, which was on the high end for this type of service.  They "shoveled" only the lower half of our roof using snow rakes, pretty much what I do on my own.  That they would not shovel the entire roof was not made clear in advance.  This was an expensive disappointment.

I have been using them for 15 years. The work is excellent and they are punctual. You don't even know they had been there.

It was quite expensive. I wouldn't recommend using them. They are overpriced. They didn't call me before they came so I just got a bill in the mail. I wanted to know that they actually did fertilize my tree. It was $445 just to trim it.

I will use them again in the future.

When we moved into our house, the former owner was already a client of Total Tree Care and so we continued with them to see how we liked their service. We were very impressed with the arborist who came out to look at the plants in the yard and to consult with us. He was extremely knowledgeable and seemed to really care about the plants. When he left the company and new ownership came in, we were less impressed with the care by the workers we had contact with. Over the years the prices continued to go up and the amount of work they recommended seem to increase. We decided then to switch to another company that does work on our street and that is less expensive. We are still evaluating the change in terms of value for money. Our yard is in good condition.

They did everything well. They were punctual. They showed up right on the dot when they said they would. They finished when they said they would. They cleaned up thoroughly - they didn't leave anything left not picked up. They did a couple of things not in the original list of work needed completed, but when they started trimming they noticed some other things. So, they did the extra work. I've used them several times and would use them again.
