Merry Maids of Cheshire

Everything goes very good with them. Excellent.

The Merry Maids having been coming to my house since the beginning of this year. Our last house cleaner moved away after many years, so I was surprised by the MM prices...they only clean 3 rooms and 2.5 bathrooms in our home, spend 90 minutes... And charge $143. At first I was told that three women would clean in that amount of time, thus I convinced myself that so much more could get done in 90 minutes. However, not only is the quality of the work mediocre at best, they are currently only sending one person. One person for 90 minutes for $143??? That is not working for me at all. I've spoken with the owner, Debbie, several times. She is very cordial and verbally responsive... But my 15 year old son has done more thorough work. (If he didn't have school and a job, I'd pay him to do it! :-)) Anyway, I am calling to cancel their services today. And though I still want my house cleaned twice monthly, I'll have to begin the search again.

I like the quality of their work. They are flexible. They call the day before to remind me of my appointments. The office staff on the phones is very professional and helpful as well.

We have had this company come in to clean our home approximately 3 times. The initial cleaning went well. They did a good job, not an excellent job. The next 2 times they missed major areas - inside the microwave, the refrigerator door was half cleaned - the upper doors were done, the lower freezer door was not. The master bath toilet and the guest bath mirror were not touched. In the kitchen they did not vacuum along the baseboards near the sink or under the fish tank. No items were moved to dust on shelving. The fireplace mantle and glass door on the front of the fireplace was not cleaned. An email was sent to them regarding these issues, no one ever responded. Very disappointed with this company. Would not use them again.

They came out for four hours and if they've finished what you've asked them to do in four hours, then they do other stuff. The last time I used them was when I moved out of the apartment and I needed a really extensive cleaning done before I moved out. They did a wonderful job.

They are on time and do a pretty good job. I like that they are well organized and they have no problem if you have to cancel.
