Did unnecessary bloodwork/ X-ray / anastesia. 650 dollars for an anti inflammatory drug and a couple of shots and exam. Ridiculous.

She is a wonderful compassionate professional . She is calm and skilled , as are her staff .

They are testing my dogs urine for a urinary tract infection.

They did not cut her nails like we had asked them to.

I would not recommend anyone to go there, the prices are

very high and the quality is poor.

We really like them. On our last visit, the price was the cost of an office visit. We use them all the time.

They are our vets for our two dogs and provide maintenance health care and have been very responsive to any illness or conditions our dogs have. They take the time to fully explain care and always get back to us in emergencies. Our dogs are treated with love and care.

She's excellent in every way!

Every visit I have had over the many years with Dr. Matz have always been pleasant, even when having to euthanize an animal. I have several cats and some are on long term medication. All I have to do is call her and she always calls me back as soon as she can if I have a problem.

Short wait time and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I had to cancel appointment on the day of the visit (could not find the cat) and the Animal Medical Care Of Ct staff completely understood and rescheduled without any problems.

Both visits were incredible. I've had dogs for 50 years and I have NEVER seen such gentleness, patience and love shown to my pet. She is a half hour drive for me, but I am going to take all 7 of my dogs to her from now on. They deserve the best and she is the BEST! She handled Nikki with great patience and Nikki was practically bouncing off the wall she was so hyper. She spent a lot of time observing her, questioning me about what has been done for her in the past and what I would be willing to do if the meds she was going to prescribe didn't work. On the return visit for blood work, she again, spent time observing and questioning me about Nikki's behavior. I've never seen a vet get on the floor with a larger dog before and it certainly helps the dog be less nervous about a procedure. She used a very small needle for blood draw and when Nikki jerked away twice, she just used another needle and made no attempt to force her to hold still. Her husband is her vet tech and he gently distracted Nikki. What a team they make! The receptionist told me they are often there until 11pm or later seeing patients or working with cases that need care. Dr. Matz is very dedicated to animal health and well-being. The charges were more than fair considering the amount of time she spent. She also called me personally to give me the results of Nikki's blood test. What incredible service!
