They did a good job of cleaning the chimneys and doing the job they were supposed to do. In terms of extra work and repair work, they were not able to do that. They were supposed to give me the name of someone for that and they didn't. I didn't compare their prices.

(We had previously visited their store to choose a wood stove and were treated very professionally and courteously. They reviewed pricing differences and let us take our time in deciding what we wanted.) The installation men were punctual, careful, and went right to work. They also put down protective mats leading from our front door to the fireplace and left no mess. After the installation one of the men (who was younger but very knowledgeable about the wood stove and had extensive experience using and installing them) sat with us and went through the care, use, and maintenance in a very friendly and professional manner that was impressive. We were very satisfied with the experience overall and will be contacting them to do our yearly fireplace and wood stove checks. The approximate cost of service included in this review includes the price of the wood stove insert and that of the installation service.

My call was handled promptly and courteously. An appointment was scheduled within a week during what was likely a busy time of year. The service person arrived on schedule and was very professional. This was the first time that I had my chimneys inspected since purchasing the home more than 6 years ago. They inspected four flues, determined that one needed to be cleaned, and performed the service charging for just the single cleaning.

The technician was great. did some sealing on my boiler flue that wasn't his responsibility, but he couldn't leave with it in that condition. I am going to make a point to indicate this to my Home Heating fuel company when they come for their annual inspection.

Overall a very good experience. I had to change the appointment at one point and the scheduled was very helpful and accommodating in trying to meet my needs as it was a busy time for them. The gentleman scheduled to perform the cleaning was running late on another job before mine but the office was helpful again and got a hold of him who was already on his way. Paul showed up a couple minutes later and immediately apologized for running late and got started right away so that I could stay on my schedule (I was on lunch break). He was very energetic, knew what he was doing, took pride in his work and offered tips and advice on operating my wood insert. He was efficient (took about 20 or so minutes) and he was very clean as well. I will use this company again in the future.

They pointed out some repairs we needed, which other people had not pointed out. They didn’t try to sell me anything, which was a bonus. He advised me of how to fix the problems on my chimney to get a proper chimney sweep.
