Over the last ten years, we have trusted in SOUND ELECTRIC to complete all our various electrical projects. From the initial wiring of our newly constructed home a decade ago, to the recent installation of our new pool, we were once again delighted with the thorough, tidy and professional work that this company deliverd. When I first interviewed him he talked so much and gave speech for an hour about how great he was.  He was one of the few electricians who returned my phone call

He worked one day and charged about 3600 for the day, another electrician informed me that he may have put in used equipment but charged for new equipment.  He justified it by saying that everyone else would have taken days to do this.  He only showed up for a half day after that and charged an additional $800. Initially, he said he was doing the job himself, but apparently he had someone else doing the job with him and was going to charge for that as well..

The new electrician came and said, he does not know how the work passed inspection.  The circuit breakers have been dripping and apparently he wired the lights in the basement, first, and second floors through the same breaker.

Excellent. At times we had to call and remind them we needed service but they were very very apologetic

Jeremy was very enthusiastic about this project.  He had great ideas about lighting design, advice for AV setup, and ways to keep costs down without sacrificing overall quality.  He was able to offer creative suggestions, listen to concerns, and adapt his ideas to fit those concerns.  The original plan did not include rewiring the basement.  He pointed out a number of safety issues.  Even though it added significantly to the cost, he brought the basement up to code, and we are glad we did it.  Everything works better and it is safe.  The lighting work ended up being significantly cheaper because he believed we did not need nearly as many lights as we originally planned.  As I look at our completed project, he was right.  The lighting is perfect.  We also had a request to put the center channel speaker in an unusual location.  He voiced his concern, but agreed to do what we wanted.  Again, he was right.  It sounded terrible.  He moved the speaker to right spot (which required some rewiring) with no fuss.  It sounds fantastic.  I would highly recommend Sound Electric.

They were excellent. The guy who came out, Jeremy, was just a pleasant person to work with. I will gladly use them again in the future.

Bottom line - the work was excellent.  He was thorough, thoughtful (from the placement of lighting and how it would affect the "feel" of the room to what kind of speaker wire to use in the home theater) and very passionate about his work - I've never met a service provider who was this passionate about his work.  Every day before he left, he made sure to leave the house as clean or cleaner than before he arrived.  Work was completed on time and on budget.

Can't say enough good things about him and his work.  Am definitely planning on using him again!

We couldn't be happier with the service.  The company is punctual, informative, friendly, and fair.  The town inspector was thrown aback by the quality of the work product so that tells you something there.

The design of the wiring runs was very clever and avoided tearing into the garage ceiling below the kitchen.  That factor saved a lot of  extra labor.  Conscientious and thoughtful work. Had many good suggestions for improvements. Work done was impeccable. Will most certainly hire him again!  We took some photos of the wiring, before the wall was closed up, and can send them if requested....

How did it go overall?  In a word, fantastic!  If you need electrical work done, done by a pro who pours his heart and soul into his work, at a fair price, give Jeremy a call.  After the job was done, Jeremy promptly answered some questions I had.   I'm waiting for him to get back to me regarding some generator options.  l would definitely use him again.

I was very impressed with the quality of his work. He is a very easy person to work with and he is very customer friendly.

Jeremy came over to do an initial consultation, to review his plans and pricing. He didn't provide a written estimate, but his overall professionalism impressed us to go with him.  It is clear that he takes pride in his work. What makes his work exceptional is that he pays attention to the quality of the work that isn't widely seen. In addition, he really knows what code requires of electrical work, and how he can perform an installation that really works. He corrected some errors done by previous electricians and homeowners, so we will be using him for our future electrical needs.

Jeremy was wonderful!! He put in our much needed ceiling fans and new switches on a very hot day and even suggested an attic fan which I would never have thought of. He did everything that day very quickly and even suggested things that needed to be done. He was very courteous and took an interest in even the smallest job I had. He will always be the one I call all of our electrical. Thanks again. 

Overall, they were good, and I was very pleased with the result. The price was fair. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Jeremy at Sound Electric called me back quickly, showed up on time, and worked through everything efficiently. Overall a great job, very knowledgeable, and I would hire again.

The experience was great. Very friendly guy (maybe even a little too chatty), very knowledgable, honest, and pricing was fair. The projects took only a couple of hours and we didn't feel he tried to take advantage by charging an arm and a leg because he worked all over the house. He didn't look for problems that didn't exist and did just what we asked. We would call them again anytime, for any project, and even just for advice on projects.

Overall, went very well. We are first time homeowners, and were a little overwhelmed by the amount of work to be done in the house. We have met quite a few contractors of various fields, and Jeremy was one of the best. He is not interested in ripping people off. He did a great job.

Excellent. Jeremy is a real pro, very friendly, fast and offered lots of suggestions and advice beyond the issues he actually fixed. we are having him return to do more work soon. Best contractor i have dealt with in many years.

They provided extremely prompt responses. The contractor went above and beyond to help us and suggest changes. He gave me a very good price and he was very flexible about billing.

The owner came out for an estimate shortly after I contacted him. Work was completed within a week of the estimate. Jeremy also fixed a couple of sockets and threw in a surge protector all for the quoted price. We will look to use him again.

What I really like is that he opted for a more cost-effective repair instead of a full replacement. He ended up replacing the starter, which was very inexpensive in both part and labor costs. I have a lot of confidence in his work and opinions.
