Allen Thomas Electric

I was looking for a local contractor to do a small job at my house. I called 3 highly rated companies on AL, and the gentleman from Allen Thomas who came out to my house to provide an estimate was professional and clearly knowledgeable, and provided a reasonable estimate. The job was performed quickly with no surprises and has added great value to our home. I highly recommend, and would not hesitate to hire again if the need arises.

The first time I called him was for an outlet that stopped working. He did a great job and I called him again for a number of different small things that I needed to get done. Once again he did an excellent job. I don't remember how much I paid but I remembered it was reasonable.

It was very, very reasonably priced. It's a small company and he's very courteous. The electrician who works for him says he's never ever had a better job or boss.

Mr. Scheidel Thomas showed up same day when we called him at the last minute after the electrician we originallly called did not show up. Mr. Scheidel Thomas looked at the house, explained what needed to be done and gave us a verbal estimate on the spot.(Later sent written.) He gave us some suggestions about reasonably priced fixtures and ways we might save ourselves money by doing some things ourselves. Further, since we didn't know the area and needed a plumber, he referred us to a good reasonably priced plumber. They had to work together to disconnect the basement heater and they coordinated with each other in an efficient and timely manner.
I would definetly use Allen Thomas Electric again and would recommend him to others. I felt he communicated well, was responsible, knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest.

All went as promised. Note that though Allen Thomas came out to give the quote, an employee did the work, which was of good quality.

When I left my first message to him, he was out of the area, BUT HE CALLED TO LET ME KNOW WHEN HE WOULD RETURN, and did so 2 days later. We immediately set a date for him and he was prompt at time agreed.

First we had called the first name on your list, in Canton, forget his name. He did call back, but when I placed 3 calls back to him. none were answered. Allen Thomas was very different.

called him to get estimate. He came out to give price and the time that he could come. He did the job in a timely and professional manner. I was very pleased.

We don't hesitate to call Allen Thomas Electric when we need electrical work done. He is always prompt in returning calls within a day or so and gets us on the schedule. His invoices always come out close to his estimates and the quality of work is excellent. Of all the contractors we've hired in the past year+ (on a house we just bought and did a lot of remodeling), Allen Thomas Electric has by far been the easiest to work with.

They did a good job. They came in and there were two or three guys that came. They went down the list and got working. There was not a single issue. Their price was what they said it was going to be. It was reasonable. I will be using them again in the future.
