After they came and tested the amps from the pump it was discovered that the well pump needed to be replaced. They were able to do it that night and I am happy to say after not having water for 2 days because of the weekend I now have water.

Sam is now my go-to guy for anything to do with plumbing and my well in this 150 year old farmhouse. I woke up to no water and Service Plus was here shortly after I called. We started with the small stuff and eventually determined the pump in our 250' well was dead. Sam spent the rest of the day in the pouring rain making sure that I had a working well by the end of the day. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Our house is over 150 years old and it didn't bother Sam at all! It started with a hole in a pipe, then became a clogged line running to a useless drywell. After he spent a day digging in the freezing rain, analyzing the situation and proposing several options, we had the whole situation resolved within 48 hours. His price didn't change even after they went over and above what they expected. My yard was graded exactly as it was and is only waiting for spring and grass seed. I couldn't be happier with the service, price and professionalism of this company and highly recommend them.

We came home from a few days being away to find our water not working at the house. After doing some troubleshooting on my own I found that the water tank was not getting any water. I called Sam and let him know I had a fifteen month old to take care of so needed someone to be relatively fast. Sam came out personally the next day, very first thing in the morning. He went through all of the steps of what was occurring, what my options were and had my water back on within an hour. He kept a great level of professionalism but you could see he cared about his work and fixing the problem the correct way without over-charging. He has a customer for life.

We could not be happier homeowners and would work with Service Plus again without hesitation. From start to finish we found Sam to be beyond professional and knowledgeable. He came out to look at our "interesting" situation and immediately began discussing the possible causes and solutions to our problem. He was up front about the challenges and possible solutions, and that this may only be a partial solution. We chose to move forward with the removal of our old plumbing in this area and a reconfiguration of our drainage system because even if it was not the sole contributor to the problem, it was an issue to be resolved. As he was removing the old toilet flange in this process, he suggested replacing the toilet as well and gave us helpful notes as we went to purchase a toilet (toilets come with different rough-in sizes). The project was not a small project and they worked until it was completed so we were only without water for one day. In the end we have a beautifully laid out drainage system; he widened our pipes from a 3in to a 4in, designed smoother transitions, sealed the aging ejector pump lid, installed the toilet, installed a pipe for our future laundry machine move, as well as went above by fixing/replacing a few minor things outside of the originally discussed designated area. At the end of the evening he walked my husband and I through the completed project, talked about a few items to be aware of in the future, and briefly talked about our well. Sam answered all our questions and even discussed how he designed and implemented the reconfiguration. There was an open line of communication from start to finish about the project and he was available to help in the time leading up to the actual project completion. Again without hesitation we recommend Service Plus for your plumbing needs.

Our 65-year-old shallow dug well gave out for the first time during this summer?s dry weather.  The few rain storms brought no relief, so we were eventually forced to consider an expensive new drilled well.  The first well contractor we called didn?t return phone messages, so we tried ?Service Plus Specialty Plumbing Services.?  Though very busy, Sam showed up on schedule and, after looking at the situation, felt the existing well was worth trying to save.  How right he was!  He not only cleaned out the well and restored the water level, the water actually tastes better, all at a fraction of the cost of a new well.  Sam is not only technically proficient, but a genuine pleasure to deal with.  I would urge anyone with a well or other major plumbing problem to contact Sam ? you won?t be disappointed!

We received several quotes from various companies, but Service Plus was obviously more knowledgeable with how to complete the job and was very willing to work with us with price and scheduling. The are they had to work in was very limited, but they managed to navigate through trees, property lines, boulders, and other structures easily. They exhibited a high level of professionalism that was obvious in not only how they handled the planning and execution of the job, but also in the type of equipment they used. They showed up with exactly what they needed and were ready to work.



Unfortunately I doubt that we will have the opportunity to work with them again since I have a high level of confidence in the work that they did. However, I would absolutely recommend this company. We received a competitive quote and they were able to complete the job quicker than other contractors had quoted. This is largely due to them being able to complete the excavation and backfill themselves and not having to subcontract out that work.

While getting quotes from several companies I often had to leave several messages before getting a return call.  Obtaining a solid cost was difficult as was my confidence in their ability resolve the demands my old system wasn't meeting

Sam was great. All my calls were returned.  He took the time to listen and understand the issues with my old system and made suggestions and improvements to resolve the problems. Often beyond what I would have expected. The workmanship was excellent and he provided written details of all the well information and water level. He reviewed all work and features of the new system. The company was not the lowest bidder but I feel that the end result was well worth the additional cost.

I would not hesitate recommending this company to a friend or family member.

We had problems for many years with slow drains and the first floor toilet flushing poorly. No one could figure out the problem and some even suggested "fixes" that would have cost upwards of 30 thousand dollars! We called Service Plus Specialty Plumbing Services and they immediately came out and identified the problem - which turned out to be several issues. There was a crushed orangeburg pipe packed with sediment and the three lines going into the septic tank were at different pitches. To get us through the night the main line was jetted but the actual repair work was started the next morning. A small excavator was brought in, pipes dug out and replaced and the pitch was corrected. For the first time in 30 years (that's not an exaggeration 30 actual years) the downstairs toilet flushes as good as the one on the second story! Drains are not gurgling! And I didn't get the run-around to do unnecessary work or have the bill padded! I cannot say enough about this company, the owner or his helper. I will not hesitate to call with any future problems with my well or septic. THANK YOU Service Plus Specialty Plumbing for doing what other "specialists" couldn't!

He called after I had left a message, and was WONDERFUL. Cheery, professional, charismatic, which was awesome from a service provider. When he arrived later that afternoon he inspected the well and bladder, explained all the troubleshooting he was doing step by step, and gave me the diagnosis. I had to think it over but, after calling his competitor I was sold on him.  He came out and started it the next day, then finished it the next morning. He disposed of everything, kept it simple, and even though it sounds like a lot of money, lemme tell you, I am so glad I supported a small business.  Because normally you call a place and you don't get the same guy you talked to on the phone.  I did. He was so happy to do this that it made me happy to have it done. it's quality work that will last.  He is truly a master of his craft and I will call him in the future  and recommend him to anyone.
