"With respect to the review by Chris [Member Name Removed], we were very appreciative of being told we did a great job on cleaning the roof of his house, which is the only work we were contracted to do. By the way, a great job is generally rated as an "A", not a "C". As far as any alleged damage to a window sill, his attached picture clearly shows a pre-existing condition (i.e., rot or peeling paint). Therefore, we could not have caused any damage either intentionally or by accident. We did not power wash the house siding of which the window sill in question is an integral part. All that could have happened is that some rinse water, which was applied by a garden hose, dripped onto the window sill from the roof and knocked off a 6 to 8-inch sliver of loose paint. The attached review picture clearly shows old previously loose/peeled paint. The black wood shows that water had seeped under the paint and over time loosened it to the point where it was peeling off. Also, cracks are evident in the existing paint! We cannot accept responsibility for this. The homeowner need only take one minute and touch up the spot with some paint. This solution was clearly made to the homeowner. As I explained all this to the homeowner, I was in a very noisy truck and I had to raise my voice and talk over him. I was not intentionally being belligerent, but I had to make my point. He insisted on blaming us for damage saying that the peeled paint wasn't evident before we arrived at the job site. As pointed out previously, we did a good, responsible job of cleaning the roof and gutters. The wife, Sarah, was very appreciative of our work before we left and we were paid on the spot. Chris and Sarah were very nice people but we are surprised by their use of Angie's List as a forum to disparage our sterling reputation (see reviews). We pride ourselves on doing outstanding work at affordable prices without damaging property. We will continue this philosophy with any future customers coming our way."
"We acknowledge that there may have been an issue with the lily plants and appreciate your comments so that we will be more aware of this potential problem in the future."
