About us
Independent Home Service Co. is a full service home inspection company providing home inspections and related testing since 1988. We perform thorough home inspections, wood destroying insect inspections, water and well inspections and radon testing for all your pre-purchase home inspection needs. We provide an on-site full written report so you, the buyer, can make important decisions immediately regarding your new home. We have an office staff that can assist you with any additional questions or problems you may have. Joe is a fully licensed home inspector by the State of CT Dept. of Consumer Protection (HOI.80). He holds both a Supervisory and Business License for Pest Control by the State of CT DEP (S-3463, B-1192). Joe is a full member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (O10498) and has an ASHI Certified Inspector designation. He is a member of the CT Association of Home Inspectors, The Southern New England Chapter of ASHI. He is also a member of the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors and the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. He has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Connecticut.
