The four person team spent three hours at the house. The stovetop was still greasy, the exterior of cabinets still had many food spots and spatters, there was still toothpaste on the wall next to the sink in the bathroom, and the desk area of the computer room was the same as it was prior to cleaning. Since we had addressed these issues prior to our guests arriving, The Maids just said they agreed that our expectations were reasonable, but since we had already fixed the problems there wasn't anything they could do and if in the future we chose to have The Maids again that perhaps one of their other teams would be a better fit for us. Very disappointed that the quality of service didn't match the price, and also in customer service.

When we are not informed of things that may have been missed right away it is very difficult for us to fix these mistakes as a house cleaning business. We, at The Maids, understand that the value of the clean speaks volumes when you are paying top dollar for a house cleaning. And that is why we guarantee every clean. When we come into the home for a first time clean it is communicated how long the team should be in the home cleaning, so that there is no surprises as far as cost goes. If something is missed or not done properly we want to know so we can be given the opportunity to fix the problem. It is difficult for us to stand by our satisfaction guarantee when the mistakes have already been fixed. A customers dissatisfaction with our service after being in this business for 10 years is not something we take lightly, which is why we offer another team if someone decides to try our service again. It is important to us that people feel as though they are getting their moneys worth and when that is not the case we feel as though we have fallen short. We pride ourselves on making sure people are satisfied with the service they receive from The Maids and appreciate the chance to make things right if a customers satisfaction is not 100%."
