picture framing
 + -1 moreThe woman who took my original order was very helpful with picking out mat colors and frames. She said that the owner of the shop would call me shortly to discuss the piece with the heirloom items. He didn't call until a week or two later to ask how I wanted it done. I had to go into the shop again to discuss options. I dropped the items off on June 19, 2008 and was told they would be done by July 3rd. I didn't get them until July 25th as the owner of the shop didn't get them done in time and called to say he needed until 7/18 to complete the project. By the time he was done, I was out of town. The diploma/document items turned out very well and the mat colors they suggested really complement some of the colors in the documents. I had to wait when I went to pick up the items until he changed the hanging wire on the back of one document as he had positioned it wrong. The poster also turned out well. The heirloom piece is fine, but some of the writing on a letter was cut off by the mat.
Description of Work: I had four items framed/matted. For two items I had my own frame and just wanted different pieces put in them. The other two items were documents/diplomas for which I needed complete frame/mat/glass. One of the works I wanted in my own frame was a combination of a card, a letter, a handkerchief and note that were heirlooms. The other item for my own frame was an old poster.
