At the time of the service, I assumed they knew what they were doing and didn't monitor them. I contacted Danbury Chimney Cleaning to clean a chimney and a pellet stove insert several months ago. They were supposed to also help with a chimney crown repair but didn't have the necessary ladder. While they initially texted me to schedule the follow up service, they never found a time they could come back since June. They have since stopped returning text messages or calls. Today I noticed that my pellet stove shows an error that is clearly the result of their service. When I started to look into the stove, I found they didn't screw the fire pot tight (I could hand loosen it). I also saw some ash in there despite it not being used since cleaned. I pulled off the back plate and found they didn't even vacuum that. This is something I do regularly during the season, so it's inexcusable that this wouldn't be done as part of an annual service. I will probably need to contact the company that installed the stove to get them to fix the mess that this company left behind. I definitely do not recommend them. Extremely unreliable.

I got a return call promptly and scheduled the service at a convenient time for me (I work full time and have limited weekday avail). The guys were prompt and the work was completed without any problems. Would hire again.

After cleaning my chimney, which has a stove insert, our CO alarms were triggered after the first burn. I called them the next day, since it seemed too coincidental that the cleaning wasn't part of the cause. After first recommending that I call if it happens again, they agreed to come back out to make sure there were no issues when I insisted. After following up with them twice, they never called me back to schedule a return visit. I had another company come out. They said that soot loosened by the cleaning accumulated at the top of the insert (and was not cleaned), which likely restricted air flow and resulted in the CO in the house. I have had no recurring CO issues now that the other company cleaned the chimney.

Both Doug and Brendan were outstanding!! They were on time, very personable and professional. (They even had a great conversation with my 12 year old son about FortNite!!!) That was cool. Anyway, you would never know they were here as they didn't leave one speck of dust behind. I was notified by their sister (I think) from the office that they were running early. I forgot her name but she is also very personable. I could not have a had better experience with this company. I feel as though I have know them for years. They can count on me calling them again. Oh and thanks for the discount of 20 bucks!! :-) Give them a call and you will be happy you did. :-)

We needed a last minute cleaning and repair before a sale of a house. They went above and beyond to squeeze us in. They showed up on time and were able to do the job the same day. They cleaned up after the job and did exactly what we expected and at a very fair price. These guys are honest, professional and will not try to sell you something you don't need. It is a family run business, truly wholesome and nice to see. We as property renovators will definitely be using them again and again. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants good old fashioned service. Quality and professionalism at a fair price.

We had a "puff" from a clogged fuel nozzle in our furnace. After the furnace was repaired and the immediate area cleaned up by the oil company technician, he advised us that the chimney was also clogged with soot. Since our house had to be deep cleaned and all our clothing needed restoration, we needed immediate service. I called Danbury Chimney and spoke to a very understanding woman (Mrs. Moss) who scheduled us for next day service. Our chimney was professionally cleaned and both young men took all the necessary time to do a great job.

Excellent service. From scheduling the service to job completion , everything was done very professionally . The team arrived on time put down coverings to ensure there was no mess swept the chimney thoroughly and cleaned up any soot. Nobody tried to all me additional service but offered advice when I asked for it. I would definitely use them again.

The two sweepers (Justin and Nick, I believe) were professional, thorough and very knowledgable. They swept my fireplace chimney and repaired a few cracks in my heatalator. I spoke to another chimney repair company in the area and they had told me my fireplace was unusable and my only option was to buy an insert which would have been upward of $2500!! Danbury Chimney Cleaning is a Trustful and HONEST family run company who will have my family's business for life. Thank you guys!

They showed up right on time, were respectful of our furniture and flooring, cleaned up when done and the price was fair and reasonable. In addition, after they inspected the second chimney they told us it did not need to be cleaned, which speaks volumes about the integrity of the company. Not only would I use them again, I am having them quote some external chimney repair work and I fully expect the pricing and work to be excellent once again.
