BROOKFIELD ANIMAL HOSPITAL

This place is unbelievably awful. They are looking to jack your bill up from the second you walk through the door. They train their people to up sell and its the same song and dance no matter which person you get (sales robots). My dog went in for boarding perfectly healthy and came out several days later with an ear infection and what seems to be a UTI. I called to voice my concerns as a long time customer. I was directed to an office manager (Joan). From the very second she got on the phone with me she was defensive and argumentative. She proceeded to accuse me of being rude to her staff and neglecting my animals. Which is absolutely absurd and quite frankly shocking. Bottom line hear is that there are many places you can take your animals for boarding and care. Think twice before you bring them here!

Lynsay Baxter is a very unexperienced and unknowledgeable vet. I brought my doggie in because her front paw was hurting. Right away she tells me we need to test her for Lyme disease? Really? Then she poked and prodded her for an hour while my dog was in so much pain and intense. Then she gives us pain medication and anti-inflammatory and lets us go. I called her on the weekend which was 4 days later and told her that my dog wasn't any better and wanted to bring her in but she only said to me to continue giving her the meds and she gave me emergency phone number? Really? She didn't take her condition seriously and didn't offer us any further steps to try to get to root of the problem . What are the meds supposed to do? My baby was still in so much pain and discomfort . The next day my dog lost control of her limps and she couldn't walk anymore. Brought her in to another doctor in the same group and he sent us to a neurologist. They found a tumor in her spine but they couldn't do anything because she was on the freaking anti-inflammatory that Baxter given her and they had to wean her off first. That alone got the condition so much worse as it was a fast growing tumor .My dog didn't improve and had to put her to sleep after 4 days.Baxter contributed in her death. My in-laws had warned me that Brookfield Animal Hospital was responsible for the death of their dog. I guess I should have listened

This group of Doctors in my opinion is not only is the best in the area, but they also are lucky enough to have a very good staff who will provide your animals with all great care should you have to kennel them. In my particular situation, I just recently had to make the decision to do exactly that, on an account of an emergency and was so lucky that they quickly, the same day as matter of fact, were able to accommodate my needs. I can't thank them enough, and at the same time I feel very comfortable knowing that they are being taken care of, and all their needs are being met, such as their Meds being given to them at the right times etc. SO AGAIN, THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS AT BROOKFIELD ANIMAL HOSPITAL FOR MAKING YOURSELVES AVAILABLE TO HELP OUT, IT CERTAINLY MADE IT SO I COULD DEAL WITH MY EMERGENCY KNOWING THAT Bindi and Lucas were in the right hands. Amazing Veterinarians! When you bring your pets, you know that they are in the best of hands at Brookfield Animal Hospital. These Doctors are not only knowledgable, they are empathetic and truly love what they do! As well as having an incredible staff that is always easy to communicate with and extremely friendly. I have been taking my pets here for as long as I can remember and would recommend them highly if you want Doctors that are easy to talk to and will make sure they do the right thing by your pet and by you.

This is a husband and wife vet team. My wife and I like them a lot. They are just good and very genuine. Our cats are treated very well and we have a lot of them. We think they are great with everything.

THE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CARING FOR MY DOG. THE OFFICE IS CLEAN AND INVITING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE NEEDING A VETERINARIAN. THEY ARE ALWAYS ABLE TO GET MY DOG IN RIGHT AWAY.
