 + -1 moreWhen I complained about his work he became the uglyiest man I've ever encountered in my life. He'd shout and scream how I must be a racist because he happens to be a black man. One day he blocked my car in refusing to move it until he was paid. Another day's rant had him pull down his pants and have him moon me saying 'do you want some black a**' or something like that. On this day he followed me uninvited to my house where I felt forced to write him the last of seven checks I paid him
Description of Work: I hired Chris Brown to do painting in a 3 family home I am rehabbing. He claimed he "could do it all" it terms of painting, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. He couldn't in fact do anything well. I had to have 50% of the work he did outside of painting redone by another contractor. His painting is just fair. Unless you like someone with a spray machine spraying all over your termostates, new electrical outlets, ceiling fans, lights old nails in walls and smoke alarm hangers. He said he could install a shower stall, and cut the very fasteners off the 'make it fit'. He's really good at covering over his mistakes.
