They came out on a Sunday on an emergency call to clear a clog on the third floor. Monday morning there was a leak in the sewer line in my basement. The came out promptly and fixed the issue at no charge! AMAZING experience!

My first experience with Rybczyk HVAC was excellent. Our water heater failed, which also supplies heat to our house. It was the week before Christmas and we were more than a little stressed. They were able to replace the water heater in time for us to still make our Christmas plans with our family, and the price was excellent. We were ripe for gouging but they were beyond fair. We were EXTREMELY HAPPY!! But then there's now. Our central AC is leaking. They came and re-charged it for us, but at that time they weren't able to search for the leak. The tech understood the situation and was supposed to get back to us. When our AC system ran out again, I called the office to get the repair moving forward. I didn't get a call back so I called again. This went on for 3 weeks, I would call the office and not hear a word back. Finally, the tech called me. I wasn't able to take the call but he left a VM. After that I tried to contact the tech several more times with no response. I have to say, I'm more than a little disappointed to be "ghosted" by a company I'm happy to pay for their services. If there were some kind of problem they never mentioned anything to my wife or myself. It's a poor business practice to handle customers this way.

Got here when promised. Jumped right to work. Did everything possible to repair damage due to road construction. Offered advice on working with the town and the gas company that did the damage. Offered to come back out to meet with the road construction crew, or the town. Good people to wor with.

The plumber arrived right on time. He spent about 2.5 hours snaking the main pipe in the basement and was able to remove a significant portion of the clog and get the drains flowing again. At one point he mentioned that he might have to cut the main pipe in order to get the larger snake in but he did manage to get into the pipe without cutting (which would have been expensive and time consuming). He did help to clean out the toilet (which couldn't flush until the drain was cleared). I can't be certain if I was charged a weekend or emergency rate or not (I honestly didn't ask). Though if the hours state they are open on Saturdays they should not be charging an emergency rate if they come within business hours. Overall I was very satisfied with the service. He was prompt, price was fairly reasonable and he got the job done within a reasonable amount of time.

It was awesome! The only issue was he had to cut up our deck, but it was the only way he could get to the pipe and he was trying to be as quick as possible for us. James was great and had all the materials and did the work in the evening as well.

Wonderful company- very professional and responded quickly. I called on a Sunday afternoon and the phone was answered within three rings. I received a call from the plumber confirming my address and his arrival time. He got to my house and got straight to work . SInce it was an emergency and an after hours situation you do pay for the time to travel but I felt that what I paid was reasonable (approximately $500.00) for the emergency service and for fixing the clogged pipes. He suggested not even using a kitchen disposal unit because in his experience they are very likely to clog. I appreciated his advice and I took it.

I called 9 plumbers/HVAC companies who all said they wouldn't be able to make it out that day. It was 25 degrees out and we had no heat on our first day in our new home. Instant response was very friendly on the phone and said they would be able to send someone out that evening. It was pricey but I guess that's the deal when your furnace breaks on a Sunday. They were very friendly and stayed until the job was done (9pm) so we would have heat.

They were able to send out a plumber very quickly on the same day I called. Unfortunately, they plumber dragged out his work with constantly talking and moving extremely slow. I am familiar with plumbing and the work should have taken two hours. It took almost 4. I was told it would be 2-2.5 over the phone and ended up being 4, but he "gave me a deal" and gave me the last 30 minutes off(so 3.5). I was not that impressed nor that happy with the overall service. I would only use again if I had no other choice.

The repairman was very knowledgeable about old furnaces and ultimately did a good job fixing it.  However, his truck was a mess and he had to borrow some of my husband's tools because he couldn't find his in his messy truck. My husband felt that he should have taken off at least an hour's worth of labor off the bill because he spent so much time rummaging around in his truck trying to find tools and stuff.  We feel that if the repairman;s truck was organized he would have been able to do the job in a more timely manner and he would have appeared to be more professional which would inspire more confidence in him.

It was recommended that my well pump needed replacement, as I had sediment in my water.   I was given a quote of $4,500, not including needing a bigger power source (which I had already paid them for a year before, about $400).  So I called the owner, and asked for an itemized bill, as looking at the replacement parts, it was under $1,000.  The owner did not give me an itemized bill, just said he'd take $1,000 off the bill.  Sorry, I want to know what I'm paying for.  Found a very reliable and customer oriented plumber.  And by the way, the first job that First Response did, due to the well not working, water was coming into upstairs bathroom.  I noticed a few weeks later that the tile was cracked behind the toilet bowl, where he had to work.  I had no proof it was them, yet I know it was.  And by the way, they never charged me for the service time they were here.

Awoke to no heat on a Sunday morning. Despite having kerosene and
electric heaters as well as a fireplace, I didn't want to take a chance
on pipes freezing by delaying the after-hours-rate repair until normal
business hours with the freezing temperatures and all. I was reluctant
to call my oil company, as they had been out several times in the past
few weeks for various items (clogged nozzle, new water feeder valve,
zone valve replace, power head replace etc) The clogged oil nozzle
replacement was a mere 34 days prior, and this seemed to be a recurrence. Typical
service call by my oil vendor would have been to merely replace a $9 nozzle and $10 filter, and fire the system,
without taking the time to determine the root cause.
I saw Instant Response's full page ad in a hard copy Yellow Pages (!) and made the
call at 7am. The business owner assured he'd have technician out that
morning, and Dave arrived around 11am. I provided some brief history on
the 23 yr old unit and the recent repairs, and the system ended up
needing a complete overhaul....the annual 45 minute "service" by my
usual oil vendor was the Walmart of furnace maintenance, comparatively speaking.
Dave was on site over 6 hours, walked me through every step of
the process, gave me a few options here and there. The igniter unit and
burner were disassembled and cleaned, the nozzle and oil filter were
replaced and the entire system cleaned and lubricated. The temp/pressure
gauge was replaced as mine was off calibration by 7psi. The expansion
tank was waterlogged, needed replacement, a vital relief valve in the
rear of the system was corroded closed, needed replacement, along with a
drainage valve faucet. The air outlet baffle needed a missing weight
and was adjusted as well.
The system is now as good as new, flame fires instantly, roars less, as the fuel/air mixture was
improperly calibrated by my usual technician. The radiators no longer gurgle with the inefficiency of trapped air bubbles, and the hot water in the shower is instant, lasts much longer.
The base hourly rate is probably the same as my oil company charges, but the diligence and persistence in sleuthing out various systemic problems and inefficiencies is something I had been missing. I will probably use Instant Response for all my maintenance needs going forward.

David was on time and professional. He walked me through each repair to ensure that I was comfortable with what he was doing and why the work needed to be done. I have had my oil burner serviced in the past by oil companies and this cleaning was much more thorough then any of the previous cleanings. There were some unexpected issues because of a faulty shut off valve that caused a delay but I was given a credit for this time. While I feel like this was an expensive appointment, my oil burner has never run so efficiently. It was also clear that David knew what he was doing and he had a great deal of pride in his work. In the future I would not hesitate to have instant response perform an oil burner service.
