College Pro Painters

While the representative/ franchisee was pleasant and responsive, the work was subpar. I stopped the job after one day. It was obvious that the crew rushed. My garage, where the crew started, and home are black, and the trim is white. There were paint splatters on the garage, and the crew tried to reapply paint where they could not remove the white trim paint from the main structure. The end result was an uneven finish around my whole garage, which left me in a position to respray the structure myself. I immediately stop the crew from coming anywhere near my house. While the representative and I reached a mutual understanding about the price for services rendered, I am just happy the crew did not start with my home. Do not use this company under any circumstances.

A ladder and paint brush do not make a painter. I hired college pro expecting to give a job to a group of college students but expected to see a team leader and basic training. By August the team that painted my house still had little experience in painting. Had I not been paint savvy and known what to look for I would have been completely ripped off. As long as the team was on the property they were very courteous and responsive to my criticism of their work. However once they left (and were paid) I got no response to my complaints or issues from either corporate or the franchise that did the work. As if school had started and the company closed. Some of the issues I had: used the wrong paint, didn't scrape or paint under the clapboards and missed painting huge areas. Failed to caulk or putty holes as per contract.Those issues were addressed to some extent at my insistence. Some of the things that were never addressed: slopping paint on other painted surfaces around the house, uneven paint coat/dry brushing, paint smeared on windows, excess paint dumped behind my garage on the ground, insufficient caulking around windows etc. They simply didn't know how to do these things properly. A complaint with pictures sent to the franchise owner and subsequent complaint to corporate have both gone unanswered.

They did a nice job. They were prompt and showed up on time. I would use them again in the future if needed.

Our house looks good and everyone in the neighborhood likes it. Their prices are very reasonable as they are not too high. They didn't leave a mess or anything. I would definitely use them again in the future for other paint jobs.

I WOULD NOT HIRE THEM AGAIN, BECAUSE I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE WORK. THEY WERE UNORGANIZED AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY WERE INEXPERIENCED COLLEGE KIDS. THEY DID USE GOOD MATERIALS THOUGH.

I SAW THEIR WORK, AND LIKED WHAT I SAW. I COULDN'T AFFORD VINYL SIDING. THEY GAVE ME A TIME FRAME AND FINISHED ON TIME. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB.
