After the wood was moved (by us) to the proper location and stacked in 4 x 4 x 8 stacks, we ended up with 1 full cord and 1/4 of a cord. Calls to Mr. Coolbeth regarding this obvious shortage were not answered and messages were never returned. We are now stuck with having to purchase another cord of firewood to get us through the winter, with little extra funds to cover the cost. In addition to the load being extremely light, many of the logs were over the 18" length Mr. Coolbeth promised us and had to be cut down. There were also many knotty pieces which will be a difficult fit for our stove.
I would never recommend this business to anyone. He is not trustworthy or honorable.
Today (Oct 14, 2011) he showed up an hour before the scheduled time, while I was still at work, took the money then dumped the wood a the bottom of my yard, 100 feet from where I wanted it and will be stacking it. My wife tried to stop him but he told her it was the best he could do , dumped it anyway, and drove off.
