I was given a service window of 12-4pm. I was able to get the company to commit to calling me just before arriving so I could at least go to local places. Once 3:40pm rolled around with no call, I called in and was told that despite getting a confirmation phone call THAT MORNING, I wasn't on the schedule. They sent someone over asap but that wasn't until 4:45. The guy spent about 15-20 minutes in the house and then went out into his van in our driveway to "call it in" and took 30+ minutes to do so. We were not able to leave during that time because at the end of the call, we had to sign something. At that time, we were informed that we needed service again within 2 days and that we would get a call from the office in the morning. The next morning, I called the office and was given the same service window, 12-4pm. I was told I would get a call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I hadn't gotten a call by 3:30 and called and was told he was on his way from the next town over. He arrived at 5pm. He spent 15 minutes doing actual work and 45 minutes sitting in my driveway calling it in before I could sign and be done with it. As far as I can tell, the unit is working. (It has only been a few hours.) I just would not choose to use a company like this who gives you a 4 hour window (which I consider to be very long) and can't even stick to it and waste my time with the "calling it in" process. From what I can tell, John is the main guy in the office and is very nice. In cases like this, nice isn't as valuable as punctual and efficient and unfortunately OSA is neither of those things.
Description of Work: OSA was hired by my home warranty company to fix our upstairs A/C unit. It was working intermittently but not very well. It was showing signs of being frozen and "sweating" a lot.
