DO NOT USE K and K! I had a very yellow/orange floor prior. I hired K and K to sand, stain, and poly my floors. I was so excited to finally refinish my floors. Mark is not very detail-oriented. He did not sand and stain several areas right up to the floor trim. You can still see the old color in these areas. Also, there are several spots within the floors that have areas with the old floor color that really stands out due to the fact that I went with a darker stain. There are also several areas that are uneven and darker than what it should be. Mark is a very messy worker. He did not clean up well at all. I went with water-based poly so that there would not be too many fumes as our cats were staying in the basement as well as me and my family during the day. He used an oil-based stain which was EXTREMELY strong. This defeats the purpose of going with the water-based poly. I only wish I saw the bad review for his work from August for a job in Milford.

K & K Flooring is one of the best companies I have hired for a job, they an unbelievably kind, polite, and ON TIME. When they say a time they are there which I really loved since we needed our floor replaced in a timely fashion. Their communication is great, always messaging and calling to make sure that everything is going smoothly and their prices are beyond reasonable. They worked around our furniture, which other flooring estimates we got from companies refused to do. These guys did it and did a spectacular job. They were cleanly and afterward were cleaning up nicely, I am really happy I found this company and will not hesitate to hire them again if I need flooring done. I would recommend to anyone!

I had just bought a home in Milford and hired Mark to change the stain on my first floor from natural brown to a light gray as well as polish my floors upstairs. Mark absolutely ruined the floors on my main level. Not only did my floors come out nearly BLACK but there are several shades different depending on the room. Additionally, he used an old flooring pad which made circular scratches all over my home. The polyurethane is uneven. Some areas have so much it created a ripple in the floor as well as bubbles throughout. Mark did not remove the cast iron rings from around my radiators, just painted right over them, thus gluing them to my floors. Lastly, he was an absolute slob in my home! He got polyurethane on my white front door, on all my white staircase spindles, ruined my black banister by touching it with his hands which had polyurethane on them. There is polyurethane on my kitchen cabinets, and he stained the stone on my front porch. Mark returned to my house 5 times to fix the mess he made of my floors but was never able to do so. In the end, he gave me a partial refund for the first floor, but it has cost me triple that to have my floors stripped down and re-stained. I caution you again using K & K! Mark clearly does not have the knowledge of complex work.

I am so impressed with the beautiful work Mark did. Our floors are even better then I expected. Kim was endlessly patient when I encountered problems getting the supplies on time, she and Mark were wonderfully professional. I really wish I had found this company sooner- do not wait- call them, you will not regret it.

The K&K Floor Care crew was quick and efficient and now I have beautiful refinished floors! No complaints at all.

We had a very good experience with Mark and his beautiful wife Kim. We had a large install job full of little problem areas because the house is so old, but whenever something extra was required that others would have upcharged, Mark was just "No worries, I'll take care of it", and he did, and he didn't upcharge for it. The end results were excellent, both in installation and in finishing. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to others.

We hired KandK after having a terrible experience with the previous company that worked on our floors. We were so lucky to find Mark and his company because finding companies to work that are any good at what they do is tough on such short notice. Mark was able to get us in his schedule luckily and stuck to the timeline he originally said. Overall the floors came out amazing after having to resand and repair the terrible gauges the previous guys put in the floors. He used the stain and poly I requested and even came down on price considering we had just been through hell.

They were punctual and very courteous. I highly recommend them. I am very satisfied with my refinished wood floors. Thanks Mark.
