We were quoted $500 by 3Ts Irrigation to install the new meter. When we gave them the go ahead they raised the price to $1000. We reminded them of their $500 quote and they reluctantly agree to the original price but they did not show up for the scheduled installation work. When we called to find out what the problem was they rescheduled because they were very busy. Again they did not show up and now they did not return multiple phone calls and voice mail messages. After 2-3 months of call and messages we gave up.
We spoke to at least 6 other potential contractors. Most were not interested in the job. One quoted several thousand dollars but still told me he really was not interested. Ideal was responsive and quoted what turned out to be a fair price. He showed up on time and did the job professionally. He ran into problems during the work but continued to finish the job and did not ask for more money. They did a great job. Aquarion had no problem working with Ideal and Aquarion without question approved the installation.
