"The grand double staircase entry was a designers dream...I had a vision for a tone on tone misty mural that echoed all the white, grey and taupe tones in the paint and marble floor. Raised molding are scheduled to surround the circular staircases..along with painting the risers and railing shiny black...carpeting the stairs with neutral sisal will add a less formal feeling. Plants and the right accessories will make this a perfect photo opportunity . The huge bathroom vanity design was executed by my photoshop team, yet to be realized ,but the clients are fun and easy to work with ..I imagine the finished product will be fantastic."
"It was a pleasure working with you. I see you mentioned the very last piece of the job. You originally called me for a paint scheme, tying all the flowing rooms together. My job expanded to designing much more. A special part of the project were the beautiful custom cherry bookcases I designed for your husband's medical library ...that was an engineering feat! Surprisingly cost effective , I believe we competed and were the lowest bid. . By trusting me ,we came up with a beautiful solution for draperies in the living and dining rooms. Accenting the oil paintings you collected I used embossed gold Italian Fortuny type fabric topped with the most glorious 8 ft cornices[ done in two fabrics w/ a banding and cording]. We also decked out all the windows with wood blinds to keep the traditional theme. I only wish we didn't finish, working on the project was great fun."
