I've used Total plumbing and heating for about a year because my gen'l contractor used them and they were very quick. Exactly what we needed at the time. They are not great though if you don't know enough to know what to ask of them. I had to hire other plumbers to tell me that stuff. If I have an emergency I'll call them but not for a good job that doesn't need to be done NOW.

I wasn't too pleased with them. The first time, he tried to replace the toilet and that took a lot of time and he couldn't do it. One of the contractors said tiles were very loose upstairs, but it was not loose until he tried to take out the toilet. I basically told them to stop because I didn't want to rip out all the tiles. The second time they came back and they quoted me the price and did what they were supposed to do. They were supposed to caulk both showers, but they did the one which was easy, it was the one that was really never used. About the other one, they said to use 409 and magic cleaner because it really does not need re-caulking, but the whole point was because it was discolored, I wanted it replaced and they didn't do it.

Prompt return of call for service. Very fast scheduling (was able to fit me in the next day). Friendly, courteous, industrious, on time, honest and neat. Called ahead to confirm ETA. Fixed everything I asked to be fixed and also had everything on the truck (no need to run for supplies). A fantastic experience as far as having to have plumbing work done goes. Outstanding customer service and work at a VERY fair price. Will definitely use again!
