Having just purchased a new, replacement washer and dryer to stack in a small closet off the kitchen, we discovered ? when the delivery men came to install them ? that there was no 110 outlet for the washer. (The ancient, "unitized" washer and dryer had been powered as a single unit from a 220 line and outlet.) We called Bob, who could not have been more ready to help. He scheduled us in on the weekend to solve the problem. He came to inspect what needed to be done, quickly went to secure the needed materials, and within two and a half hours, we had a dedicated circuit and new outlet for the washer. It wasn't an easy job. The new line had to be run from the box in the basement into the closet, which actually extends into the garage and is not within the footprint of the house's foundation. This meant adding the new breaker and circuit, and running the line through the basement and into the garage area, and sawing an access panel through the drywall in the garage, . All the work was done carefully and Bob meticulously cleaned up afterward. (When he was done, the back portion of the garage was cleaner than it had been before he arrived!)
Excellent work, done with care and at a terrifically fair cost. I don't see how one can ask for better. We count ourselves so lucky to have found Bob (a salute to Angie's list for our discovery!), and we have recommended him already to relatives. Though I hope it won't make him too busy for future needs we may have, it's a privilege to recommend Bob Salg (RJS) to others.
We found Robert Salg to be very reliable and pleasant. He always arrived punctually, returned phone calls promptly, and provided receipts for all materials he purchased for us. His records of time spent working for us were always accurate.
Importantly, Robert Salg is a thoughtful worker, finding innovative solutions to repair problems.
In sum, our experience with Robert Salg has been 100% positive and I enthusiastically recommend him to Angie's readers.
We will absolutely use RJS for any future needs. It's a pleasure to meet someone who embodies the old-fashioned virtues of meticulous care, skill, and hard work. If there were an A+ rating, we'd give it!
