Pat came on time and did a thorough tour of the property and gave what looks to me like a comprehensive appraisal that met my expectations.

While he responded quickly to our request, the appraisal had a glaring error in it that needed to be corrected. When we pointed this out, he did not apologize and failed to immediately correct it which were the most disappointing parts of the experience.

The process to find what you’re looking for on Home Advisor was simple. The professional that was suggested was excellent in every way. He answered my inquiry promptly. He arrived at the appointment on time. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He did a thorough appraisal of my property and sent a report in a very timely manner. His fee was comparable to others. I will contact him again for future services and will use Home Advisor again for other needs as well.

Pat, the owner of PC Appraisals, has a great sales pitch and has a low price compared to others appraisers, but I guess that reflects the crappy job he did. He literally spent 10 minutes to appraise the inside and outside of my home and called that a thorough job. He low balled the value of my home by nearly 30,000 to 40,000 and he also had a few incorrect items written on my apprasial such as: Does the home have an Attic, he checked the No box when my home clearly has a finished attic. My home has 4 bedrooms and he wrote down only 3, my home has 1.5 bathrooms and he wrote down that I only had 1. The total square footage of my home is approximately 1500 sq feet and he wrote it as 998. Be aware. His price is low but so is his guality of work. If he spent more than 10 minutes inspecting my home I’m sure he would have noticed what my home actually entailed and my appraisal would have noted the correct value. Now I am the one that losses the 30,000 to 40,000 difference in value. I strongly suggest to pay the additional 50 bucks and go with another appraiser as I have to hire another appraiser to get a true value on my home. I did try and talk to Pat and discuss the issues discussed above, but he refused to listen or change the value of my home even after I showed him clearly all his mistakes and houses similar to mine that just sold for 220,000. He still would not work with me. Do not be fooled by his sales pitch and 300 price tag!!!

He was very prompt and worked with me above and beyond regarding payment method. I would definitely reccomend this company to anyone looking for a quality home appraisal.
