It was a total disaster, causing me time and money, and resulted only in damaging my property.   He did not come prepared to work ( borrowed materials, needed ladders, disappeared for hours).  He even brought along a puppy to the jobsite, attached him to the bumper of his car, and almost drove off dragging him.  He was unprofessional ( late, illprepared, inconsiderate, lied to me).  His standards were low ( was prepared to paint right over loose paint ) and he was concerned only with money.  His preparation for painting was very poor, moreso just biding time and doing nothing.  He used 10 times the amount of bleach to powerwash, the smell and the water penetrating my house as he damaged brand new Pella windows estimated at well over $25,000 by not wetting them down beforehand and using too harsh chemicals.  He did not remove the screens while powerwashing and they were torn and broken.  He took no care to protect any of my property, including my shrubbery, well, etc..  He broke my water hose connector. He made derogatory comments.  The list goes on and on; it was mistake compounded by mistake.  He involved my neighbors when he spilled paint all over the driveway and attempted to dump it in their stream, polluting the wells and wetlands.  Furthermore when I tried to talk with him, he left the job and is now suing me.  Do NOT hire this painter.
