Hooves, Hounds & Whiskers

Carol has been walking my dogs for almost 7 years and she is amazing. Always a cute note left and the pups are sufficiently tired after being with her. She's flexible and has helped out in emergency situations. Highly recommend.

We are SO GLAD we found HH&W! They have been visiting our almost 11 year old lab daily for a couple of months. From the original meet & greet visit with the owner Carol, through all the visits, we have been extremely happy. We have mostly had Niko taking our girl out but have also met Stephanie as Niko's backup. They are both FABULOUS!! They are on time, very caring and gentle with our "old girl", professional and very pleasant. We have enjoyed getting to know both of them and have total confidence in them. Everyone at HH&W has also been VERY flexible and supportive as we deal with a family health issue. When my husband was unexpectedly hospitalized recently, I reached out to them immediately and with very little notice, they completely "stepped up to the plate"! We went from 1 visit per day M - F to 2 visits per day 7 days per week. It has been an absolute relief to know that these great people are taking care of our lab while we are focused on these health issues. I can't say enough good things about HH&W, especially Niko & Stephanie, and look forward to continuing to work with them. We highly recommend them!!

They had great reviews. The person who came out was really great. We told her that we wanted to hire her and she gave us the paper work. Then she never bothered to return our phone call. Their price was good.

We have had a great experience with Hooves Hounds and Whiskers. We have been using them for about two years. Our dog has health problems and can't and quot;hold itand quot; for more than a few hours; HHW walks him twice a day during the workday. The nice thing is that Carol runs this as a business and they have several walkers, so you don't have to worry if someone is sick or on vacation, as they take care of scheduling the replacement. All of the walkers really seem to love animals as well. We had a few bumps at the beginning getting the schedule worked out--as I mentioned, our dog can't hold it very long so it's really important that the walks be at the same time every day and evenly spaced throughout the workday, so the couple of times that someone arrived very early or very late were problematic--but things are going well now. The walkers all keep a notebook log, so you know how things went during the walk. Carol has also been able to schedule walkers at the last minute--for example, if we decide to do a day trip on the weekend--though of course it's better to schedule in advance. But they have been very accommodating. We also use HHW to feed, water, and check on my two chinchillas whenever we go on vacation. HHW will also bring in the mail and check on the house, so it's great to know someone is coming on a regular basis when we are out of town. They have been very trustworthy and we have never had any problems.
