I've visited European Specialists approximately four times now and have never looked back. I tell them each time: if I still had to go back to the dealer each time I needed servicing on my MINI, I'd likely not still own it. They take the mystery and hassle out of owning a MINI. I can actually *enjoy* the car! Such a relief. They are communicative and phone if there is a part that needs to be ordered, or other slight delay. Otherwise they are prompt and professional. Actually, they are far more professional than the dealer at which I purchased my MINI. I will keep coming back. Thanks, folks! You keep my MINI humming along happily.

I had a 35,000 mile checkup (recommended, since I was asking for most of what was included in this service anyway) and they checked the battery, changed the air filter and cabin filter, did an oil change (synthetic Mobil1 oil and filter), checked my rear brakes and rotated my tires. This was my second time here and all went smoothly. They did my front brakes the first time I was there and they informed me I'll likely need rear brakes the next time. All seemed to go smoothly; no problems with the service and the place is conveniently located and is professionally run (unlike the two MINI dealerships!). They seem quite familiar and comfortable withe MINIs, which is reassuring.

I have been looking for a good, honest, reputable place to take my MINI for servicing. In a word, the two MINI dealers in CT leave much to be desired: they're far away and it's always several days to get anything done and it's sometimes hard to get anyone on the phone. I had been getting local ads from European Specialists (formally Swedish Specialists) and they prominently noted that they "love MINIs!" so I took mine there. I was very happy to find a relaxed but professional atmosphere. I spoke to John on the phone and booked the appointment, then dealt with Roxanne when I dropped off the car late in the afternoon the day prior to my appointment. She called promptly the following morning (the day of my appointment) and noted that the car needed a fog light assembly and would likely take two days to arrive. It was fine with me, as I had the luxury of having a car to drive in the meantime (although European Specialists does offer loaner cars with sufficient notice). To my surprise, the car was done the next day! The part had arrived earlier than expected and I got a phone call late the next day. I picked up the car and it was clean and neat and just as I'd left it. They affixed a small decal reminding me of my next service and also gave me a printout detailing every bit of work, part, labor cost, etc. I will certainly be a repeat customer! If they can keep my lovable but quirky MINI purring along, I may just keep it for a long long time!

The process of service as well as the customer service is very good. They are very professional and very easy to deal with.
