The staff and vet were all very nice and knowledgeable. Made sure we knew every step of what they were going to do next and why they were testing for certain immunizations. Gave us lots of great advice and we really appreciate it. Will definitely use them going forward!

We were looking for a cat vet because our cat is not familiar with dogs, so we were glad to find this vet practice that treats only cats. What is nice is that they also have a "rest home"for elderly cats.
Our kitty is usually very unhappy at the vet. But this time it was an exception. The doctor was very gentle and kind and so was her technician, and Tabby cried a bit but she did not hiss or fight the vet. The doctor even removed some ingrown claws, which we did not know she had, and she has been much happier walking around since.

It is clear by the way they treated our old girl that the doctor and her technicians really love cats.
We will definitely bring her back to Cosmic Cat Doctor again.

Our baby is a terror to take to any vet; she is at best skittish, and at worst, a hissing maniac when she has to go for an exam. We decided on Cosmic because they only work with cats, and because we'd heard wonderful things from other pet owners and online reviews. There are no words for how happy and lucky we feel to have made that choice. Dr. Hinc, Marianne (sp?), and Jody (sp?) have been miraculous right from the get-go; they handled our kitty beautifully, with great confidence & skill, and also with great consideration and care; no small feat, considering how difficult she can be. Not only were they absolutely able to perform all of the necessary components of a physical exam, they were able to get enough blood from her for the necessary tests - and administer some required injections - without traumatizing her. As the week - and the diagnostic process - progressed, they were unbelievably gentle, thorough, and communicative with us as we endured a difficult period of her worsening condition and our own growing fear and anxiety over her prognosis. We were kept updated every step of the way, and the office was indescribably kind in the handling of our constant phone inquiries - and when BA's condition necessitated her transfer to the emergency vet facility in New Haven for hospitalization and urgent care, Dr. Hinc was right there to meet us and guide us with lots of frank and useful information, and provide us with the options on how to proceed with her care. We're lucky enough to be bringing her home today, in infinitely better shape - but even had that not been the case, we are well aware that we wouldn't ever have had doubts that she received the best, most loving, most diligent and skillful treatment available. No, this has not been an inexpensive process - but we were presented with estimates and all necessary information along the way that allowed us to make the financial care decisions that were best for us, as would anyone else that chooses this practice. Thank you, Cosmic Cat. We will be forever grateful for your kindness, competence, and good cheer - and we will never be bringing any of our feline family members to anyone else!

Their staff was thorough and friendly. They seemed to be reasonably priced. It wasn't difficult to get an appointment.
