Curries Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc
About us
In January of 1989 Paul Currie Sr. and Marguerite Currie started Currieās Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Inc. to offer plumbing, heating & cooling services to the community of Southeastern, Connecticut. Starting the business from the ground up, Maggie operated the office while raising two children. Paul was completing service calls from one happy customer to the next. It did not take long for the company to grow their customer base, as their main form of advertisement became word of mouth.

In addition we questioned him on filtering our water supply, we brought it up. To improve our water quality and protect our equipment. He explained the solutions available, showing his vast knowledge and enjoyment of his work, and took a water sample to design a filter system that would be right for our home (water supply). We are looking forward to a new water filtration system.
I had a list of concerns, so it did take a while to troubleshoot. He found that the furnace needed a few parts. He showed me where and what needed to be replaced and explained the reason this needed to be done. He said that the parts should be in within the week. We scheduled a tentative appointment. The following week same gentleman arrived promptly and went to work on the job. I thought I was going to have to clean up after him when he left even though he had brought a vacuum. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the area in which he worked looked better than it did before I called!
I would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend them to anyone. Fantastic!
The estimate said noon to 2; the worker arrived a little after 2 pm so I was a bit worried. I would have liked it if they called to give me an updated time. However, he was very nice and polite, and in short order informed me that it was just a shut off valve from the water being too low. Since I knew next to nothing about the furnace, he gave me good instructions on how to check it and maintain it. He also told me he wasn't charging me anything since he didn't do any work. I say that he did; I would have gladly paid him a basic fee for coming out, honestly, because it was extremely helpful. I was so worried that my furnace was broken! I'll be scheduling a cleaning with them very soon.
