Problems with this company delayed our entire project 2 months. The subflooring job was started and not completed. Then the owner left on vacation over the Christmas holidays without notifying us and without leaving any contact information. After the holidays, he sent a flooring man who started the job and abruptly left. He then sent another man who put the floor down incorrectly and with many flaws, such as overlapping pieces and pieces not meeting the walls. The floor was supposed to be rolled after placement with a 100 lb. roller which was not done. It was not until we contacted the Amtico company representative, who quickly noted that the job needed to be completely redone, that the owner offered that. We paid $700 for a new 1/4 '' subfloor over the flawed floor (which our home contractor put down), and then Bolton flooring sent a man who did an excellent job putting down a new floor. Because of the delays we could not put in our appliances or finish the job on time.
Description of Work: We purchased Amtico flooring for our kitchen, which was available in this area only through this business.
