From my perspective the owner did not listen to what I had to say and was dishonest in his dealings with me. I gave him a copy of the insurance claims specifications when he visited to give an estimate on the job. Together we looked over the insurance claim form and discussed the details . He assured me his company would take care of it . Later I signed and faxed a Santee contract with an addendum indicating my signature was for all repairs and roofing that was to be done in accordance with the insurance claims inspector's specifications. I called his office to make sure the paperwork was received and their office person, Sherry, said she had received all the faxed paperwork. While the work was being done I spoke with the owner on several occasions and expressed my concerns that the workers were not doing the work according to the specifications, his reply was habitually yeah, yeah, yeah I'll take care of it. Most of his workers were Spanish speakers and had a very limited English vocabulary if they spoke any English at all . This made it very difficult to communicate with his workers. The owner was never on site to oversee his workers. He came once because of my complaint about the ceiling work. It still was not done according to specifications. When the bill arrived I disputed the charges and the owners wife who claimed they never received the addendum to the Santee contract I had signed about the work being done according to specifications. In addition she said her husband owner denied I gave him a copy of the insurance claims inspectors specifications and denied that together we looked it ver and had a conversations about the insurance forms during his visit to my home to give me an estimate on the work. I tried speaking to his wife about the bill but the dispute went to small claims court .I could not make it to court so the judge ruled for Santee Homes. I would not ecommend Santee Builders LLC to anyone

They got the whole job done in one day and everything was cleaned up when I got home that evening. You could not tell that they had been there to replace the roof.
Ralph suggested I put in a claim for wind damage on the roof and to my surprise we won a claim that really helped to pay for the new roof.

Got 5 quotes, Sante was next to lowest but was by far the most professional. They split the difference on the lowest quote and we went with them. They used a crew of 6 and did the whole job in a day. Very clean and I would highly recommend them.

Last year a tree fell on our house during a storm. We weren't sure if there was damage so my parents called Sante Builders to take a look. They own the house, so protecting their investment is very important. Ralph came out and did the inspection. He was very personable. We had the roof done 2 weeks later for a very affordable price. The crew completed the roof in one day start to finish.

They did an excelllent job with the roof. The crew did the work in a professional and efficient manner. Ralph the owner worked with he insurance company since it was a damagaed roof.
