Doesn't know how to use the timer. Also hard to communicate with the workers. Broke a pipe.

I have mixed reviews of this company.   The guys who actually service the sprinkler system are very friendly and do their best to service an account.  Dealing with one of the owners who handle appointments and billing is another matter.  Although the winterization has been reasonably priced (about $140),  whenever there's the slightest question or need for additional help,

After the company we had used for 15 years opened up our sprinklers for the season the system went to fault. After resetting it several times they decided another person had to come and fix it...we had just planted new shrubs and needed it fixed asap. Our old company told us it was their "busy" time and would send him when they could. Two weeks later we called Green Acres....they came the next evening to see the problem, gave us an estimate and repaired it 2 days later. The owner could not have been more professional, and his workers were efficent, polite and capable.

This has been a busy summer in Litchfield County for providers like Greenacres. As I'm a weekender, they were even willing to come to us on a Saturday. We had, for the last several years, relied on our "former" plumber to take care of the system. We eventually learned that all Irrigation specialists are indeed plumbers, but not all plumbers are irrigation experts. We spent much more for the former plumbers time and lack of know-how than what Greenacres charged to make the whole system work like a gem.
For the first time, we went to Angie's list and that's how we found Greenacres. And we couldn't be more pleased!! We'll be sure to consult with Angie whenever we need help around the house from now on!

They added parts to it and adjusted it at no extra charge. They could not have been any more professional. They were just wonderful. What stood about them was that they did more than what we even expected them to do. They seem to take pride in their work.

Family owned and operated, great people, Dave the owner was always on site as the work was being done and available for my many questions. It took a few days and they always left my yard neat and clean at the end of the day, I'm very impressed with the quaility of their work and the process. After my job was completed and seeing how satisfied I was with the work my neighbor hired them to install a system too. I would recommend them to everyone

Dave was very, very nice to work with. He was very professional. He followed through on everything that he said and had some very good options.

Dave and Sharon, the proprietors of Green Acres of Bethal, are simply fantastic. Their price was highly competitive, and the team was extremely professional. Dave knows what he's doing. The layout was excellent, they did a great job! They were very responsible. An example I'd like to share is that the team accidentally cut the cable TV line, which was buried insufficiently shallow underground, during the installation. In fact, the line was cut two times before by other contractors. Dave was not like other contractors. They showed extreme concern, and immediately accepted responsibility. They went beyond their duty and laid down PVC pipes at their expense for the Cablevision guys so that the line would not be easily cut again in the future. I would highly recommend Green Acres to anyone who is interested in installing a lawn irrigation system.

The work completed was good. I thought they arrived on time, were professional and easy to work with. We have a very big yard and I thought that the price that they charged for the job was appropriate. I would recommend their services to other people.
