Terrible. He took 45,000.00 to perform the job. He finished half of it. This job was to house my elderly, sick mom. He began August of 2007. He showed up at first and the outside was almost finished. My mom was really looking forward to this as my Dad passed away just months before. He kept stalling after that. In December 2007, my mom passed away never getting to see it finished for her. We waited until Feb 2008 to mourn and then contacted Dennis again. We made a new plan to finish the addition with much less work inside. (We decided to turn it into a family room so no other walls were needed. Dennis became ill with heart problems, we were very understanding and waited several months for him to recover and come back, which he told us he was ok and would come back. He then would have his men show up now and then, do very little work and disappear. We contacted Dennis many times and he did not call back. Then he came back and told us it would be an additional 5000.00 for less work. Finally, I left a message saying that if he wasn't going to come back, give back the last 15,000.00 and we'll have someone else finish it. He ignored the call. We went to our attorney and have since pursued a case. We were advised to get estimates to finish the job and contact the state to try and get reimbursed. We are trying to do that. This man took advantage of a sick woman, my mom, whose money he stole. We know he was ok, because I caught him working on another job. I believe he took the money and ran. He has had many opportunities to resolve this and ignored all of them. We were patient and understanding, even sent flowers when he was sick. How could this man do this to my mom and to us. He should be in jail. I hope he never works anywhere again. Do not trust this man with your money or your dreams, he will not fulfill either. Regretfully, Sandi Murray.
