Reprogramming was a complicated task which i eventually had to teach myself to save expensive and delayed service calls.
Some rooms never functioned properly; some devices--for example a Tivo--were non functional.
Provider had installed ipod input jacks so that an ipod could in theory be connected to the system as a source but he could not locate them/remember where they were.
There was a touch screen input unit which became unusable (image inverted and flipped) whenever the system performed an automatic system driver update and i had to go in and manually reverse the software updates.
Finally the system was extremely vulnerable to outside weather conditions and produced loud noises and sometimes sparks during storms.
Also there was no documentation so only Alan himself was able to do any real work.
After multiple attempts to address the situation, he told me that the technology 'had moved on' and it was time for him to re-install a complete new systems--at considerable expense.
This I did, but with someone else.
