Eliane has cleaned our house several times over the past few years and we could not be more pleased. They are VERY thorough, as well as punctual, polite and respectful of the house. Responds quickly to texts to schedule appointments, shows up on time and takes their time to cover the entire house (we have an old, 6 bedroom colonial with wood, tile and stone floors, and lots of nooks and crannies). Price is very reasonable. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and experienced cleaner.

Went well, was on time and did a good job.

I had some problems with Iliani, first of all she did not speak a speck of English and we had a bit of difficulty communicating. So that was an obstacle in the first place. And I had not had a clear understanding when I talked with her on the phone, what she told me, again, in her very halting English was not what I thought I had contracted for. This was a point of confusion. 

When she showed up, I couldn't understand barely a word she was saying and she couldn't really understand me very well. Although she was very willing, I liked her, she was very pleasant, except for this communication issue. She worked very hard. But I did not understand the nature of, she expected to be there 4 hours. I asked her to leave after about half the time, with the understanding that I would call her back for a second try or to do some extra work. But I have not called her because I thought that contract was good for 6 months. 

I was very pleased, after the difficulties. She worked very well, she was speedy and I was very pleased with what she had done. I thought she did a very good job. Very diligent, very good, very speedy. Again, not being able to talk to her was the problem.

We?re very satisfied with the service of Alfa Housecleaning ,our regular girl is very good and reliable.They send people out every two weeks to do a normal cleaning. Their reps are really nice and they're very good about scheduling. They give me a whole year schedule in advance, and they're really good in working with me if I need to change anything. Most of the time, when the cleaning people they sent come out, I'm not at the house. So, I don't work with them in person very often, but when I do, they're very nice to work with. It's always nice to come home to a clean house.and they're very good about scheduling. I have tried several local cleaning services ,none have come close to the thoroughness or professionalism of Alfa,I have being using then for 2 years . I highly recommend !

When I moved from my rental house to our forever home, we hired Alfa House and Carpet Cleaning Services to do both locations.  They were on time, extremely thorough, and responsive to my needs.  The level of detail was impressive and I was extremely pleased with the outcome.

I've used ALFA a couple of times now.  The first was for a very thorough cleaning - 3 people for several hours.  It had been a while since the house had been cleaned properly, and I requested all hardwood floors mopped, as well as the standard cleaning of kitchen counters, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, etc.  ALFA's crew showed up on time and were very professional and efficient throughout and soon had my house looking spotless.
I used them again about a month later - 2 people for 2 hours - and the results were also quite good.
I've been impressed, and have will likely set up regular appointments with ALFA on a 2 or 3 week rotation.  I recommend them highly.

UPDATE - After a couple of very good experiences, I noticed that the ALFA crew seemed to be cutting corners - not cleaning counter-tops as thoroughly, leaving cobwebs or dust in some corners, etc.  Shortly before the holidays I had an appointment for house cleaning, and they did not show up at all.  I was waiting around that afternoon expecting them.  Finally, after it was clear that they weren't coming, I called to ask what had happened.  Apparently someone had taken ill, and could not keep my appointment.  However, I certainly would have expected and appreciated a call from ALFA to inform me, rather than me waiting around and then having to call them - I do not consider that to be professional or acceptable service.

Scheduling the appointment was very easy, they were very accommodating.  Three women showed up to do the work.  I specifically requested a move-in clean, and said that what I want most is not to "know" that someone else had lived there prior to us!  The ladies got right to work, and at first they seemed to be very thorough, spending a great amount of time on the upstairs.  However, I was then shocked with how little time they spent on the main level (including kitchen) and basement.  I was surprised to find out that they had packed up the car after 3 hours... then asked me what I thought.  On the surface things appeared clean, and I thanked them.  But in the next 1-2 days I found out how just NOT thorough their work was!  Lots of things left undusted (ex: thermostats on the wall) and how much dirt remained (ex: under fridge and stove)... all of which I had to do myself as my movers were bringing in my stuff.  I was so disappointed!

I have been through three or four different house cleaning companies in the past two years and Alfa has been the best by far.
Very trust worthy and responsive.

I usually clean my own house but for a number of reasons could not do so this week and, as I have company coming this weekend, I decided to hire a cleaning company.  2 women arrived promptly at the appointed time and immediately began cleaning.  They worked non-stop for just under 1.5 hours.  They did a good job and the only negative is that they only dusted where they could reach.  So the tops of the armoire and the china cabinet were not dusted.  The walls also were only dusted to where they could reach.  Alhough, one woman did get on a chair to clean the light fixture in the dining room.  As I usually do my own cleaning, the tops of the furniture and the walls are dusted regularly, so it wasn't such a big deal that they weren't this time around.  My house looks good enough for company and I didn't have to kill myself getting it there.

I do not have a large house, but the company sent 3 people for 2 hours. Usually a single person does the job in around 5-6 hours so that seemed fine. This time, however, they didn't need to change sheets or do the two loads of laundry I usually have of sheets, towels and underwear. Yet, they took all the time, and still missed a lot in every room. They missed areas where they left dust and areas that needed the vacuum. I asked them specifically to vacuum under the mattress in my bedroom and I saw the girl lightly lifting up the cover and using the vacuum slightly...not taking off cover..moving mattress and really doing a good job. They missed areas around the back of furniture...didn't want to move it I guess. I have a big chair in my bedroom where there are two exercise balls they didn't move or dust. The forgot to dust tops of pictures on walls and one of the night stands at my bed, One girl spent a long time in my bathroom but when I went in there..the tub had dust..the perfume bottles were not all dusted. I did ask them (I speak Spanish) to use a wet rag and a dry rag in every room. But I had to constantly point out things left undone. They did them after I asked, but I felt like I couldn't relax a moment until they were finished. My husband works with the Secret a Service so when they arrived I told them there were cameras in my house and not to take anything without asking first. They said fine. I simply wanted to be fair since I never used them before. I've had many housekeepers throughout the years, live ins and weekly help...but these 3 women seemed to do one thing very well in each room, and topically do the rest. They come in with a bucket of materials, a broom and vacuum. But all of a sudden they have three big white garbage bags they move from room to room. It was all a bit unusual. I think they are probably excellent office cleaners. But this is not the crew to send to a house. When they said they were finished, I paid them $140.00 in cash and Patricia the lead woman said thanks and they left. Oh one more thing...when they did dust, they put everything back in a different place..including bathroom rugs! I had to go through the house and put things back where they were. Like I said..it could just be this team ...but I felt like I had to supervise everything and it all came out just average. When I pointed out the floor in the kitchen had dirt in it and some debris when she said it was finished, she told me it was left from the towels. You know what a house feels and smells like when it is really clean. This just felt superficial at best. I am disappointed because I expected a better work ethic. I guess if I was promised a better group that would do a much better job, I would try them again. It is frustrating trying to find an honest, excellent housekeeper who is responsible, reliable and a self starter.

the maids arrived on time and with smiles and a great attitude. After introductions, we "toured" the house, but they were ready to get to work, and were prepared with notes from my original meeting with owner (good communication/preparation.) The women were so thorough and detailed in their work, the house was totally spotless when they were finished. and loved the way they were so organized and professional. They are worth every penny I paid... my house has never looked cleaner! I couldn't be more pleased. They even loved my dog!!

I had to scramble to get someone to clean my house before moving in.  I had someone scheduled but my contractors weren't done.  And the scheduled cleaners didn't have any other open times.  So I looked at Angies list reviews and was relieved when Elaine said she could schedule me in.  I spoke with 3 housecleaning services and they agreed that it would take 9 to 10 hours total to clean the house.
Two ladies came on time.  Then they spoke with Elaine on the phone and Elaine said it would be 9 hours.  But then she said it would take both ladies 9 hours so it would be 18 hours total of cleaning.  I thought that was outrageous.  The ladies came at 3pm so that meant that they would be there till midnight.  When one of the ladies realized that i was not buying it, she called Elaine and told her they would clean the house for 400 dollars.  I was in a tight spot so I agreed to the deal.  Then Elaine calls and asks for 50 dollars for cleaning supplies.  Unwisely, I pay.
Next day, I walk in the house and there is still dust on the baseboards, moldings, closets havent been touched, kitchen is just barely wiped down.  And my cleaning products that I had left in the house were used.  
I am confused by all the positive reviews.  I wish I just went with my neighbor's cleaning lady instead of trusting these reviews.

It went well. The appt. is set up with the cleaners daughter, who speaks English. Two of them spent about an hour...I had left a check and when I returned the house was spotless.

I was very pleased with Alfa.  I have not had a cleaning service in many years and it was a wonderful feeling to have a clean house on a Friday night!  The staff were friendly, effficient and seemed to be in every room at the same time!  I had just removed wall to wall carpet in the apartment and wanted to pay extra attention to the floors.  The ladies went over them several times and used a product to clean them thoroughly and bring out the shine.  They came late in the afternoon and worked for 2 hours.  The time was very convenient for me.  Calls were returned promptly and my questions were answered - Alfa provided all of their own supplies.  I received a follow up call, as well.  This company was a pleasure to work with and I would use them again.
