because of how major my issue was it took awhile for all the ants to be eliminated... in time they were all gone - one year later the carpenter ants have not returned.

Al was great, showed up on time, did a thorough inspection and scheduled me for a treatment the following week. Haven't seen any carpenter ants since.

Al came out within a day of our calling him. Took care of the problem and charged a very fair price.
But that doesn't adequately capture why we will always turn to Bethwood for help with any kind of pest problems, just as we have a number of times over the years. Al is always quick to respond; he'll take pains to get back to you if you phone and leave a message, and he will do his very best to come soon. He is a first-rate professional, able to identify problems and come up with solutions, whether the issue is rodents or insects.
He is also someone of great integrity. A couple of weeks ago, I asked him to come because I had heard squirrels running while working in my study, which had once been the attic. I feared they had gained entry into the area between the ceiling and the roof. Al came out within two days of my call, checked for possible entry points around the edge of the roof and at the vents at either end of  the house (which workmen had supposedly sealed carefully with wire mesh several years ago). The upshot was that Al determined that there was no way for squirrels to have entered and the noise was almost certainly just sound carried from squirrels scampering in our acorn-laden gutters. When I asked him what I owed for his services, he told me there was no charge. When I tried to insist on paying  -- after all, he had arranged his schedule to meet our need and spent time checking around the house -- he still refused, saying another call had brought him near our neighborhood. I don't care what the profession or trade: there aren't many like Al any more. We recommend him to everyone we know in the neighborhood.

Al was wonderful, very friendly, competent, clearly concerned about the well-being of pets and people, which is a big plus, so the pest elimination process was as environmentally friendly and yet effective as we could've wished.

He is an excellent exterminator. He is very thorough and professional with the work that he does. He walked me through the entire process explaining what was being done. He is very knowledgeable of his profession.

Everything went positively and the ants were completely gone within a few days. The moths we were able to address on our

own thanks to Al's advice.

Al was very easy to work with. He was on time, very professional and honest. We are currently selling our home in Milford and during the buyers inspection termite damage was found. Al came out, did an inspection and determined based on his professional opinion that this was very old termite damage and wouldn't recommend getting the house treated. Thank you Al for saving us some money! I will use Al for any other pest control needs and you should too!
