Unfortunately, for the exterior job, neither my wife nor I was able to monitor the work and, upon arriving home, I found them sitting on the front steps. I asked them if the work had been completed, and they assured me that it had. I wrote a check on the spot, and they left.
When my wife arrived home later, we inspected the work and found that they had neither sanded nor applied a second coat. The exterior paint job didn't last long. and the side porch looked terrible: bumps and previous paint jobs that were merely painted over and not sanded, as we had contracted for. We called them many, many times over the following days and weeks, but they never answered nor returned our calls. We would not use this company again.
