They have been out vet for the last 22 years. They are incredible! They give a paw print and let you spend some time after they are done.  They are amazing.

Dog was lethargic and had some blood in her diarrhea. There was also a lump on the dogs belly, which was possibly a hernia . Dr. Hester gave us several options and recommendations with the associated costs and was very thorough. Followup was outstanding. The problems cleared up after a week or two on its own. If the issue arises again we will revisit the other options, or when we take her to get fixed.

They are an excellent vet. They are great with our dogs. Our dogs love to go to them and are not scared of them at all.

I made the switch to Animal Hospital of Berlin for my 2 cats just a few days ago. Was with another vet business in my area and was never happy with their service and they weren't very professional. AH of Berlin is an AMAZING hospital. The expertise and professionalism you get is very comforting and the hospital is very, very clean!!! The doctor that took care of my cat is Dr. Hester and he was wonderful, understanding and listened to our cares/concerns too.
My cat is having mouth trouble and AH of Berlin handled him as if he was their own. I know I have a vet for life and that makes me very happy :)
I highly recommend AH of Berlin to everyone!!!

I have been returning to the Animal Hospital of Berlin for 15 years (several times a year)--for annual exams, routine surgeries, and various incidents needing attention (eye infections, for example). From time to time, they have referred me to some specialists in the area. By comparison I have been impressed by how the Animal Hospital of Berlin nicely segregates cats and dogs into separate waiting rooms (whereas elsewhere my cats were terrified by big dogs), how wonderful and caring the staff are, and how the vets are always accessible to answer questions. We have received excellent care and good advice. When I had to board one of my cats (who needed medication) while I was out of town, I was confident about leaving him there. All of my cats were strays. We adopted the youngest from the Animal Hospital of Berlin--a newborn stray brought in to be put down. The staff provided surgical and other care for this kitty and kept her until they could find a new family (ours). [She's a terror but we love her]. I think they are a great choice in Vet care and I have complete confidence in the Animal Hospital of Berlin. They are less expensive than the specialists (and emergency vets) I've seen but even annual exams add up with routine shots, blood work and so on. I cannot really say how they compare to prices for routine services at other Veterinarian offices these days.

My vet was very good when I had to put my cat down. The veterinarian seemed very sympathetic to my agonizing dilemma. I basically had a very healthy cat, but she had a long history of soiling in house and I couldn't deal with it anymore. She had destroyed too much in the house, antics and hardwood floors. I had tried everything and the vet had offered what they possibly could and they just didn't seem to be any resolution to this. She wasn't a terribly young cat, but she was about eight or nine years old. But she had a long history of doing this and they seemed to be no end in sight for this and I couldn't deal with it anymore. The vet was very helpful in helping me to make this very difficult decision and they had her put down. I had tolerated much over many years and it costed us thousands of dollars. But this cat was ruining furniture's. I loved the cat she was just so bonded to me, so I was just literally balling my eyes out in the vet's office coming to terms in this decision, but this vet was very supportive. He gave me time with her in the room to say goodbye to her and just gave me lot of space to cry really hard and they took her away. They were all very respectful and sympathetic.

The doctors and staff are all wonderful, patient, and caring. They will spend time providing you with information and options and researching alternatives for you. They keep up on the latest alternatives. I trust their judgment and rely on their competence and expertise when facing a decision about care. Prices are reasonable and are completely itemized (dental cleaning for example included not only the procedure but also blood and thyroid work ups, anesthesia, and medical waste disposal. Cat and Dog entrances/waiting rooms are separate (great for skittish cats), clean and neat. Complete home care instructions are provided after procedures. Scheduling is usually quick - same day if there are other cancellations. Most impressive, they try to give care to, and find placements for, rescued animals that end up on their doorstep. I wish they had a "Friends of the Animal Hospital of Berlin" group to help them sustain this spirit of generosity.

The staff and doctors were very responsive to my needs and if there are ever any emergencies they get me in right away. I think they also provide a boarding facility if you need one. The entire facility is very clean and nice. As far as their rates go, they are average and well worth my money.
