Provider walked in the middle of his contract after we refused to his demands of money that were not discussed nor in the written contract. After getting estimates to complete his job we were informed by multiple people numerous errors that have to be re-done. He also had provided us a copy of his Home Contractors license and Insurance information upon signing the contract. We have since discovered through the Department of Consumer Protection that they were fake and Avon Building and Renovations did not have an active license nor insurance when he presented the job to us. He is currently being investigated by the DCP and this matter will have to be resolved with litigation to recover damages.
This Contractor also goes by the name of Avon Building and Renovations.
