The service was excellent, they returned my initial call very quickly and came to evaluate the site within a couple of days from the initial call. It didn't take long to schedule, and everything went smoothly as planned when they came to do the work. They are very professional.

Krystyn and her husband came out to check out our roof after another company replaced it last year. We called for them to come out to let us know how to fix the water damage that we experienced with our so called new roof. Krystyn's knowledge and the expertise about roofs was amazing. She advised us of our next steps on how to deal with the company. Oh boy, do I wish I had known about them last year.

It was somewhere between $3000 and $4000.  It was a positive experience.  The guy's name is Billy; he was an expert in roofing, materials, and the entire process.  We went up on the roof, because we were having some leaks and problems, and he pointed out some of the problems that we were having.  They laid water and ice shield on portion of the roof and then Billy ran water and ice on the section of the roof that was replaced to test it.  We had to refurnish the interior and we waited for six months to make sure that all the leaks were stopped.  We didn’t see anything and haven’t seen anything since he did the work.

We are extremely happy with the services we received. Bill & Krystyn our experienced, professional, neat, good-natured, knowledgeable, and very happy to share that knowledge. HSC performed top-quality work at a reasonable price. While they were here, I inquired about some other work I was curious about. They were happy to share their knowledge and gave me do-it-yourself advice.
Whenever you hire someone to do work on your home, you're putting a lot of trust in their hands. I feel at ease working with this company. HSC has gained my trust and going forward, they will be the first I call for any contractor work on my home.

Bill and Kristyn are two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.  They took plenty of time, made suggestions and answered all my questions.  They are very professional, experienced contractors.  Unfortunately their estimate exceeded my budget.  I notified Kristyn by email.  She responded and wished me luck with my project.  I would have definitely signed a contract with them had their estimate been closer to what I could afford. 

In a nutshell, we are *thrilled* with Krystyn and Bill and our customer experience. They are incredibly meticulous, knowledgeable, efficient, honest, dedicated, sharp, down-to-earth, and provide *phenomenal* quality workmanship! Prior to hiring them, they provided us with a thorough written contract, with proof of insurance, license, and certification in lead abatement (important to us with twin toddlers in the house!). They also have a background in historic preservation and have worked for some very impressive clients, including prominent museums and historic sites in CT and NY. Clearly, they know what they're doing and can be trusted to do it right! They are SO dedicated to providing quality and are SO meticulous, they detected a 1/4" bowing in the frame of our biggest picture window after they installed it -- an imperfection they brought to OUR attention -- and found it unacceptable. They contacted the window manufacturer and brought the rep out to take a look and provide a warranteed solution to the problem. It's nice to know that we have perfectionists working for us! We bought the vinyl replacement windows they recommended and are *extremely* satisfied. We have been able to lower our heat thermostat 2?-4? immediately! No drafts, no problems. Great quality all around! Since they are general contractors, we plan to hire them for any and all of our upcoming homeowner needs! We recommend them HIGHLY!
