Richard (owner) came to assess the basement water leakage at my home. He was prompt and professional, and gave reasonable options to address the conditions. After the consultation, the work was completed at a later date by a team member who was very professional and did a great job. I recommend CTDB.

CT Dry Basements has twice been to our home to successfully repair a leaking foundation crack. Starting with the initial phone call to the final repair, their team was always kind, professional and respectful of our home. They are an honorable business and we will certainly call on them again for any future needs.

Rich and his team have gone above and beyond during the process of waterproofing our basement! Rich had come by in November 2020 to provide a quote for installing a full inside perimeter flat track drain channel, wall flange, new sump pump, new dehumidifier, etc. He was very professional and reasonable. He took his time to understand our concerns about a few items. At no point did we feel as though our questions were rushed or not answered. We had to reschedule our initial service date due to an unforeseen emergency and Rich was so understanding and flexible. On the day of the service, Rich's team arrived on time and were extremely personable! The set up prior to the work being done was impeccable. They made sure all working areas were covered in plastic or drop cloths. They kept us updated throughout the full day. The system and team work that they provided showed that we absolutely made the right decision in this business. The job was completely cleaned up from the driveway to the basement. The overall job/service was the cleanest work I have ever seen completed. I would highly recommend CT Dry Basements to anyone throughout CT/New England for their professionalism, timeliness and completion of GREAT work!

Our basement occasionally got water in it from heavy rain. We spoke to many other companies who wanted to charge ridiculous sums of money to ensure the basement stayed dry. We came across Connecticut Dry Basements and we are so happy that we did. Richard was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He recommended that a Mason drain be installed. Scheduling was very easy. It took his crew one day to do the job. They were incredibly professional and did a great job with cleanup. We've had lots of rain within the 6 months since installation and not one drop of water in the basement. I'm so happy we found Rich and his company and would highly recommend them to anyone having water issues in their basement.

Initially, the owner was professional and gracious in explaining the process and the expectation of the work to be performed. He stated the approach and that the Waterproofing would approximately5 plus years or so. On the day painting started, it had been damp and rainy. The initial coat was applied. On the morning of the second day, I inspected the cellar and the paint was still wet from the previous day. However, a second coat was applied to the still wet-painted walls from the previous day. The job was completed in a rush, but timely. I was charged and paid $10,000 as contracted. Subsequently, just over 2 months later, there is substantial leeching of minerals/water/and discoloration in 3 of the walls. While I have researched and fully understand the dynamics of a cinder block foundation, I did not expect the results I am seeing now, only 2 months later. I reached out to the owner, Richard Taylor, and showed him pictures, who responded, “There’s really nothing that can be done.....”. This company promotes all promises on the front end delivers poor quality and services on the back end. It has been a very unfortunate and expensive mistake on my part. Shame on them. Hey

Very Well. Punctual. Communicative. Diligent. Worked for two and a half long days with few breaks. Excellent results. Got three quotes and they were the least expensive. Rich gave the estimate and his foreman, Mike, followed through with great onsite supervision and direction to the crew. Both were quick to return calls and answer questions. The crew was neat and polite.

They came out and gave us an estimate. They did the work in a timely manner. They also cleaned up after themselves, which was huge. They communicated well, and would call to tell us when they were going to arrive. They were pretty much on time.
