ANIMAL GENERAL LLC

Have been going to Animal General for many years, at least 10 to 12. Office staff is friendly and helpful. I can always get an appt with my preferred vet. The vet is knowledgeable and caring. He will reach out to other vets, who are experts in their field, to get additional info. He always follows up if I call him. We are well taken care of at Animal General.

As a long time client, at Animal General, I couldn't be happier with the doctor and the staff. They are caring, knowledgeable and responsive to the needs of my pets and me.

Dr. Feldmen is good with pets, lousy with people and conducting business. Typical New England attitude at this office. Doing the work before getting consent with pet owner and expect payment no matter what. This office is not people or business friendly.

I would not recommend this office for any work.

They haven't charge me for putting her down, but they did charge me for the treatments we were doing to try and save her before that.

They offer a multi-pet discount, if you have more than one pet. They are very personable and call back when required. I have been using their services for the last 4 to 5 years and will continue to use the same in future.

I'd taken my dogs here many times over the course of a year or so. My last time there my youngest dog was bleeding (I'd called ahead and told them it was an emergency and they told me they could take me right away or I wouldn't have gone there) and they kept us waiting in the waiting room for more than 15 minutes. Desperately, I ran to the desk and begged them, "Please, my dog is bleeding! We need to see the doctor!" The response: "Don't worry. We'll clean up the floor." I left immediately and took my dog to a nearby hospital where she was hospitalized for three days (she nearly died after arriving) for severe pancreatitis. The time before this visit I was waiting in the crowded waiting room and the doctor bumped into me and was indignant that I was standing in his way. But I was standing in the only unavailable spot in the waiting room and he'd practically run out of an examining room without looking. The attitude here is horrendous. I will say though that the doctor's care was OK.

This place is great in all areas. I really feel like they love animals. The staff is so nice and polite. Steve, the veterinarian, is always able to explain things to me on my level of comprehension. I also think that they are cheaper than other vets.

This company was amazing. If I wasn't for them, my dog would've been dead. He knew what was wrong with my dog before the test results even cam back. He is definitely as good as you can get in regard to a specialist. We still follow up with him to get the dogs shot and other things. This company was, and is not cheap, but it is worth every dollar you spend on them to save your dogs life.

The vet is only 2 blocks away from our home which is why we had started going there in the first place. I guess if they were to ever move we would follow them to their new location because they are very compassionate and caring.

I think they offer great treatment for the pets and they are very caring. One thing that I really like about them is that they are open during evening hours and it accommodates my work schedule very well.
