The entire team was FANTASTIC! They were there every day and always were working hard, getting the job done VERY neatly and with minimum interference with anyone else. All of the workers were nice and they always left the job in pristine condition. Paul, the owner, was OUTSTANDING. We were sooooo fortunate to find them!!

Paul Vartelas from Valley Roofing did an excellent job evaluating the condition of our roof and gutters. I have an old home, so there was a lot of unknowns going on under the old roof! He removed the old roof entirely and replaced some plywood, tongue and groove wood where needed, then covered the entire roof with rubber product. He also provided a new drip edge and installed facia to secure the new gutters. Where the 2nd floor ‘Dog house’ was, it was tarred where it met the roof. Paul removed the clapboard, went up the sidewalls with rubber and flashing, then replaced with New Clapboard painted yellow to match the home, and new white trim around the window. He topped the roof with architectural shingles to match our garage. He solved problem areas where valleys merged and now the gutters can handle Heavy rain! Paul also gave me a good price on the estimate and stuck to it! They planned the job well and materials showed up on the job site quickly! The teamwork by the workers was very professional and focused. They knocked the job out with Quality Workmanship and a great work ethic. They kept the job site clean and safe at all times. Excellent cleanup at the end. When there was an issue of any kind, they resolved it immediately putting in extra effort to go above and beyond!!! They were very appreciated!!! Chris was incredible from start to finish. Professional and thorough. Never once have I had such a great experience with a contractor. They were way ahead of schedule. The work was incredibly superior to anything I’ve seen. Quality materials, terrific guys on the crew that really worked hard. The work came out great. The business has been family owned since 1958. Two brothers took it over from their dad. The pride of ownership shows. Chris made multiple stops throughout the two day on the job site to ensure everything was going smooth. Excellent. New plywood, roof and new skylight were needed on house and garage. Installation was professional and completed in a timely manner. Cleanup was very good. We highly recommend Valley Roofing - Ansonia. Paul was very nice to work with.

Chris was a pleasure to deal with. He was punctual and thorough in his explanations and in our business dealings. He went above and beyond at one point, lending me a family vehicle when ,through a misunderstanding, I was not able to access mine for a few days. He answered any questions promptly and I felt he was fair in our negotiations. His company started the work when he told me they would and also finished within the initial time frame give. So far the roof has not leaked nor have the skylights. The roof itself look mighty fine. There were some small negatives. The workers did not clean up very well during the removal of my old roof. I came home from work often to find quite a bit of debris on my lawn including left over lunches during the old roof removal days. After thenew roof was put on I went up in the attic and found numerous holes where the knots of some of the original wooden boards had been knocked out by the force of the installation of the tiles. The workers repaired these holes but I had to bring it to their attention. The dumpster that was left by the company the was contracted by Valley, left a few deep gauges on my driveway. I pointed this out to Chris who took photographs of it after all the work was done and told me he would get back to me after the winter. This never happened. Since last year I have found a few nails from the roof, on my driveway. This leads me to assume the cleanup after the job was not as thorough as it should have been. Having listed the above negatives, I'd still say that the positives still win out. The roof looks great, has not leaked and the skylights are working well as are the gutters. Overall I would recommend this company. Their honesty and fair pricing and adherence to their stated completion date make them worthy of being hired.. I would just be vigilant about cleanups and peripheral damage possibly done to driveways.

They are excellent. He is reasonable, fair, and cleans up very well. Their prices are much lower than many of their competitors.

THEY DID A MEDIOCRE JOB. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE COLOR OF GUTTERS THEY HUNG. I ALSO WASN'T HAPPY WITH THE WAY THEY DRAINED THE WATER. THEY WERE DONE ON TIME, BUT THEY DIDN'T MEET MY EXPECTATIONS.

THERE HAS BEEN NO LEAKS OR ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE NEW ROOF SINCE THEY FINISHED THE WORK. I FELT THAT THEY WERE A HARDWORKING BUNCH OF PEOPLE, AND I WAS IMPRESSED AT EVERY SINGLE TURN.
