Preferred Management is the property management for my condo. Grounds upkeep is minimal to nil, they actually ripped most of the landscaping trees and floral shrubs out of the ground when we complained about them being trimmed with weed whackers. The snow removal is incredibly slow and unwieldly, the older gentleman in charge is friendly but his ancient plow breaks down every year, the tow truck that comes to retrieve it usually gets stuck itself. We tend to count on missing a few days when the weather gets bad. Recently, many people have been walking their dogs through the complex and the dogs crap EVERYWHERE: in front of doors, near cars, near the mailboxes, around the dumpsters in back, along the walkways, all over. Their owners don't clean up behind them and nothing is ever said or mailed out to the complex as a whole. I've come out of my front door (no one in our building proper has a pet) and nearly tripped over a pile of fresh poo; it almost feels as though someone is doing this to us on purpose. But when we call P. Mangagement, they say that they had someone drive through and they saw nothing and that we need to get the apt. # or license plate of the person responsible. In fact, this is pretty much their response for any complaint, from abused parking spaces to mold in the basement. They say they've sent someone and didn't see anything amiss so we need to send them the info of the parties involved. Never a general mailer, never any warnings sent and most of us have never seen the person they send out to investigate. My back porch railing has been rusted at the base for sometime and it finally fell apart last fall (around Sept.), yet after several calls nothing has been done about repairing it. As far as I know, no one has even come out to look at it.
Description of Work: Poor grounds maintance, landscraping nearly destroyed, poor snow removal, lax and unfriendly office staff.
