Would love to give this roofer an A+. We had a roof that would leak each spring and only in the spring. Spent thousands on guessed repairs to fix the problem. This roofer was the only one who diagnosed the true problem. The roof was not breathing correctly because of poor to completely non existent air flow. This caused condensation to build up over the winter which would melt each spring and leak into the home. They offered a quick fix which we tried for one winter but was not successful. That attempt cost us $2500. This company did guarantee that the roof would not leak after all the repairs were done. We had been using heating wire on the roof to try and control any ice dams that would accumulate thinking that was our original issue but were told we would no longer need to do that with this repair. After another $16,000, they replaced the existing plywood and insulation and correctly vented the roof. They did a great job matching colors and the roof looked excellent. The next winter was mild but no leaking. The winter after that was more normal and even though we had no leaking on the inside of the house, the porch over the deck leaked like it had in the past. Called them back up and they came out again. They went up on the roof and claimed ice dams were the problem and it could be fixed by using heating wire. After they left I took off one of the venting covers they had installed and noticed there was still a condensation problem over the porch. We decided not to call them back out again to argue about the condition. I decided to install some additional venting above the portion of the roof over the front deck and THIS appeared to have fixed the issue. Finally about 6 years later, we started having a leak inside the house around the wood furnace chimney pipe. This leak only happened during heavy rain. The old roof had never done this and I suspect the flushing around the chimney was starting to peel back. Our roof was supposed to be guaranteed for materials and workmanship so I decided to call the company and see what our options were. Multiple phone calls were NEVER returned and even went online to their website and sent an email that was NEVER returned. I do not understand this type of behavior. At least return a phone call or email and tell me my problem is not covered. No response is not acceptable from a business. I decided to go up on the roof and put some roofing sealing around the flushing and screw down the part that had peeled back. The roof has not leaked since.
