We had a terrible experience with Basecamp Builders and the owner, David Rogers. We contracted with him to build a house for us and broke ground that summer. After getting to the drywall stage a year and half later, the project seemed to go dormant, and we expressed concern. He subsequently abandoned the project. We found David Rogers to be unprofessional, unethical, and lacking in accountability. We strongly advise potential clients to seek other options when looking for a builder.

I met David Rogers, the owner of this company 23 years ago after purchasing a 7 acre parcel of raw land. An architect provided his name. The project was located at an elevation of 9300 ft above sea level. The residential home had some inherent building challenges involving varied steep pitched roof lines and an â eyebrowedâ window on the 2nd floor. The project was started in the fall before the snow started to fall. He and his crew exhibited extraordinary diligence and perseverance thru the winter months and the entire project. The end result was a masterfully constructed dream home standing up to the harshest of Colorado winters. Over the years, weâ ve called on David to do some additional interior design projects. His suggestions were always tasteful and well received. All were completed within budget while continuing to display perfection in every detail. Simply put, heâ s a master builder in whom we have complete and total trust.

David was great to work with throughout our entire remodel process. His craftsmanship is top notch and we have received rave reviews from friends and guests staying at our property. We would highly recommend Basecamp Builders to others looking for a high quality contractor at a fair price.

David is a true professional ! Work delivered on a timely basis. Work quality impeccable. I would hire him again!

This total rebuild of my Vail townhouse was a huge project that started as a result of water leak on top floor for a month unnoticed. Dave has been really easy to work with through out the process. He is honest and wants to do what is best. He provided his recommendations on items and has very good relationships with his recommended vendors for stone, fixtures, tile, lighting,etc. The quality of the work was very good.

Great job .The owner is very conscientious about the work, that it is done correctly and within a time frame.

David was very responsive to our decking problem. He sought out engineering expertise to ensure our deck was designed to withstand the snow load at our elevation. His solution was sound and cost effective. Highly recommend!

Working with David from Genesis Master Builders was a whole new experience! I've never worked with a contractor more eager to make sure I was happy with the final product. Even when I would feel stress over changes that were needed, he would reassure me he would make sure I was happy with the final product. Out of the entire remodel, his custom cabinets are by far my favorite addition. The qualify of workmanship is superb. His response and communication were always clear and timely. He even adjusted the design half way through to make the final product even better. I would highly recommend him. Great find!

I bought a fixer upper in Louisville and totally redid the entire house. My house turned out better than I could of ever imagined! David and his crew did an amazing job! I feel very lucky to have chosen them. I would hire them again in a minute. David finished the job on time and is extremely reliable. His work is beautiful!

David was wonderful. He was trustworthy and I had no issue leaving my home in his hands while I was at work. He worked quickly and efficiently and was available to make mini corrections after the job was complete. It is evident that David wants to make sure that his clients are happy with the job he does, and I am thrilled with my bathroom remodel.

Dave did an excellent job with my home repairs. He stayed on schedule, was professional and kept me informed of issues that arose. He had excellent suggestions. I plan on using Genesis Master Builders for my next project .

Dave did an excellent job with the kitchen remodel. He was consistent and cared about his work.

He has a big dog that chewed up his house - damage from it. Did not check work check work and it was not good. Had to re-do.

I fired him and had to find someone else to finish the job.

He is a master craftsman. The work he does is of the highest quality. I was extremely impressed with his meticulous attention to even the smallest detail.

David was great. He stepped into a project (home reno:4 bathrooms +) that someone else screwed up and walked out on leaving us in the lurch with family coming for extended visits. He pulled it together, fixed what had been done wrong at reasonable rates, and then finished it up on time. That meant working 6-7 days per week for about a month. When we found unexpected problems (eg rotten floor from leak) he fixed it at a fair price and still brought the project in on sched. The bathrooms look great. He also gave solid advice on purchases and design questions. He's a professional, no BS, friendly, and someone you can trust to get the job done thoroughly.

He does a good job. I recommend him to a lot of people and everybody has been pretty happy.
